I like how Santa was portrayed as a hero here, while in most Christmas horror movies he’s the main villain
ikr, it actually follows the canonical christmas lore
I do find it pathetic that they keep the troupes involving women these days. Little girl is brave and fearless, even when punched the grandmother didn't bleed, useless guards do nothing...etc...etc...

I like how he says “try to humanize” cuz I was just thinking the whole time “Humanizing yourself in a hostage situation would make it so much better to help your situation like imagine killing a random person vs killing someone who’s just told you how they met the girl of their dreams, dated for 3 years and was pregnant, and was already planned a proposal for tomorrow. Hoping for a bright future and how he was so thankful to finally graduate medical school so he could go to foreign countries as a doctors without borders and treat those destine like how his angel of a mother did before she passed away during the ebola outbreak.” Hell even if there’s some fake truths behind it or half lies it may help your situation as long as you make it realistic.

Yeah, but tbf Beverly D’Angelo as the rich immoral grandma who delivers the final kill and survives (she’s a villain, so that was surprising) was a nice extra.

The emergency SOS feature has technicality been available for years. If you dial 911 and it fails to connect the GPS module in pretty much any smartphone will begin pinging your location to emergency services.
I actually think this movie was way better than I expected.
When calling 911 you can always do it. It forces the phone to connect to the nearest tower, allowing you to call

If I had the real Santa present, I would ask him to give me stuff from my childhood that could actually help. Assuming this movie takes place in the present year, nearly every kid has had a fascination with animated shows like Ben 10 or Generator Rex and Danny Phantom. That being said, with knowledge of said weapons being provided, we’d be able to even the playing field and eliminate the team on an easier scale.

One thing I think should've been mentioned, is that, if he has an Infinite Bag of Holding, he should take any weapons and store them in it, so they can't be reclaimed by other guards. This lessens their firepower, and you never know if one of the guards was made to hold ammo for _other_ guards...
When this movie has a sequel, I fully expect Mrs. Claus to show up being another historical warrior turned holiday figure. But I’m really curious about what actress will play her. David Harbor as Santa was unexpected but amazing, so I honestly have no idea.

Movie was suprisingly decent. I was never bored and it kept my attention really well. Had some really good moments, too. It made me laugh and it made me care for some of the people. Seeing Cam Gigandet was a nice surprise.
