    ahh glad I found this - I also use press on generics (I get mine off amazon), but it's become increasingly difficult to keep them on using the full length of the nail (sometimes they break, sometimes just fall off, or chip at the base), which is terrible for the finger nails and a major PITA. With this method the nail is more securely attached, and I think has a better tonal quality. Also seems easer to shape as well. Much thanks!

    I play unplugged acoustic, and If I had false nails, I would want them to be very LOUD! Indeed, much louder than natural nails could ever be. Now, is that possible?

      So I play also acoustic. Take a look to my new video:) ruclips.net/video/2LF2DpfhKi0/видео.html . I think it works well with nails. :)

    Thank you for this great video. How long will the artificial stay on your nails ? How often do you have to redo them ?

    • @MichalStanikowski

      Thank you so much for your response and nice words. I am happy for this!🙏🏻 I change my nails ca´ each two weeks. When I practice very very much then each ten days. They stay quite long time if I do not "remove" then with my artificial nails remover. When you clean and dry your natural nail before fixing the long-lasting "stay" of the fixed nails should not be an issue. :) I do it always like in the video and it works really great for me since many years. But on the beginning I had to be patient and do my learning process. Best regards to you!!!🎸

      It is easy to hold them while fixing when the nails are long...Just this.

    Fake nails sound just too plastic sounding and metallic for my taste!. Nothing can replicate a warm and round natural sound coming from your own nails, the biological material the nail is made off can not be replicated as yet!.Reason for not testing the sound from the fake nail on each string vs regular nails on this video!

      well some people like me break their natural nails

    • @MichalStanikowski
      @MichalStanikowski  Год назад +1

      I cannot agree but some how with fake nails you need more effort to find a compromise between guitar, strings, finger attack to get some fine sound. A bunch of many best guitar players on earth play with artificial nails.. So it is a solution for make it effective even if your natural nails are to weak, like mine...However, thank you for your comment. It is always interesting and i love the exchange of thoughts and opinions. Best Greetings
