@@billypolard me too dude, i wish you had the cred you deserve. getting attention for your work is a total crapshoot and it's endlessly frustrating. i make music and videos and shit too, it's hard. the important thing to know is that there are always going to be people that appreciate what you do, and are moved by it and inspired by it. it's discouraging making shit for the void sometimes, but try not to let it get to you. you've just gotta keep making shit from the heart with the understanding in your head that it matters, and it always will matter. sorry for the long response, i've loved your shit for a long time and i hope this comes across as encouraging more than preachy, hahaha
@@Lute01 no need to apologize. I appreciate the “pep talk”. It’s not really anything I haven’t heard before…and I totally understand where you’re coming from, which is from a good place. But yea, it’s hard to think those ways after so many years and so many disappointments. But I still thank you. I made 3 albums, a lotta art, and even published 3 children’s books. I have a body of work I can be proud of. It’s just making new art can be hard after so many disappointments and not “making it”
This is amazing. Considering the limitations in flipnote, i had never expected anyone to have the patience to create such a long, detailed and beautiful animation with it.

This is a really effective animation. I like the imagery of the birch forest, and the light and shadows you can see on the character's body.
Flipnote Studio looks like a really fun animation program.
The diversity of talent that went into this video...my mind, it is boggled! Bravo, sir, bravo.

I bought this song as my first official purchase for iTunes, and I still come back to the music video all the time. Seriously a great indie tune that I share with a lot of my friends who want melancholy-like music to sit and listen to. I feel like this song could be in a background/prominent song in a indie movie/show some day

That's some amazing talent. I think it's also very resourceful and creative to use Flipnote Studio (which I also use) to make this inspiring video. Not to mention the song. The song is very soothing and like a lullaby, but yet a such a sad, but wonderful ballad. Well done, well done.

I've been using Flipnote for over a year now, but am nowhere near (not even in the same universe) close to your talent. I would LOVE to see a tutorial/behind the scenes look how you do these. I liked your Nintendo Weekly video, but when you said "it took me a lot longer than I thought, like two weeks" - I almost died! lol

Thanks, man. These take a long time to create and I barely have any drive anymore. Plus nintendo keeps pushing the release date back. Who knows though.
