External to internal rotation of the forearm....the fastest human movement. Turning the ball to center field is starting internally rotated....where are you gonna go? Turning the ball to the players head is starting externally rotated ....so you can internally rotate.
hand position has nothing to do with internal or external rotation. Hand position is pronation vs supination. Turning the ball toward the head is not external rotation. The shoulder - not the forearm - internally then externally rotates. The forearm is just along for the ride. i think you're agreeing with me but the way you worded it isn't accurate
The slow motion infield MLB players throwing really give this a perfect touch... great stuff Coach
Thanks for watching, Miguel!
Great video and very well explained. Loved you showed videos to go with the explanation.
Good stuff! So, elbows up, pinch the scapula, and ball or palm facing down?
Elbows level with the shoulders. Up isn’t really the right way to think or say it.
Great stuff.
Coach - how can we contact you directly? Appreciate your videos. Thank you.
Really helpful. Can't wait to get back on the field and "re-teach" our girls. Looking forward to future videos.
Good luck!
