My dad's whole immediate family lived on cherry hospital most of the workers families lived on the grounds my dad was a baby n 1941when my grandfather moved his family from racist Johnston county n the middle of the night he tells me. the awesome part is he is not the least bit bitter about his childhood but it stirs up so many emotions within me .I also believe that is y there ares so many crazy ppl n Goldsboro now. n to many of the blacks here still live under the government n the many projects of Goldsboro. I want to make an documentary about cherry n the past n present. The Cherry Hospital Projects I what I'll name it.idk

PLease reply to this message. Are you still visiting areas like this?? Just found out that a couple of family members were housed in the 1800's here at that hospital.

This place is haunted! Lots of lost tormented souls there! The buildings are filled with asbestos and all boarded up. The ones that aren’t I got a photo of a ghost. I believe she was a nurse back in the day, the photo of her was the brain trauma building. She was dressed up real old timey!
