Finally someone doing something great with basic materials! Lot of youtubers are going crazy spending thousand $$$ to make cosplay items... Glue - paper - scissor : this is the way!
I love it. This is hands down the best viking helmet tutorial I have seen (and I've been looking). The instructions are clear and simple. The supplies are not expensive. The end product is good looking.
These helmets are fantastic. Thank you for sharing. I was able to follow your instructions and help my son make a Roman War helmet for history project. It took us a few days but it turned out so good.
Fantástico tu trabajo, me encanta. Además, hablas muy bien, clarito, fácil de entender para alguien con idioma distinto, pero que entiende inglés. Saludos y gracias desde Chile.
Ya, das is goot..very good.makeing Viking Helment with horns with paper mache, I use to make such thing syeats ago for role played cons.of fantasy. An Ren Fairs..I am at the age now would like to start makeing such art again at age 62. Thank you.
What a fantastic tutorial - thank you so much!! My friends are taking my daughter to a Viking Funeral so this was just what I needed....my daughter loves hers and her friend hasn't seen his yet - I just used leftover fur from another project (actually both parts of a koala jumper)... I would apse a photo if I knew how!!
Incridibly nicely done! And your accent, and slow and careful way of speaking were surprisingly relaxing to listen to. If I could give more likes, you'd get them all. Thanks so much for making this video!
Thank you so much for this great and easy tutorial. The helmets are really impressive. Let me also say without any hidden motives that you are an exceptionally beautiful woman.
Making this with my children this week it has been lots of fun so far so thank you for your great tutorial. Im not the best painter so a little longer on how you did the highlights on the horns would have been helpful also. Although the horns arent historically correct kids of course dont care and always want them on their helmets so dont worry about the comment below its a great video thank you so much!!!!
wow, amazing skills mrs Babonga, i like a lot your tutorial, i will make my own helmet with your teachings, i love your accent, thanks a lot, i suscribe now 😃😃
To make the paper mache helmet you dont need to use plastic wrap at all. But if you want to make a fitting paper mache mask, then you have to "build" it on your face and to protect it you need plastic food wrap film (=also called cling film, a very thin transparent membrane that is used to wrap food with and it is sold in super markets in the form of a roll).
She didn't claim to make a historically correct viking helmet. Just a horned helmet perfect for cosplay and other fun. There's also a difference between helmets used in battle and those made for ceremonial purposes. No reason to be rude to Babonga here.
@@saravanroosbroeck5414 the Vikings aka the norse men never wore horned helmets period the only horns they had were used to drink mead I wasn't being rude I'm just tired of the inaccurate portrayal of my ancestors it's bad enough that we get labeled Nazis just cuz those people stole and bastardized our alphabet and symbols the vikings were not 7 foot buff guys with horned helmets they were atleast 5 foot and usually weren't super buff and were mostly kinda small but they were a fierce fighting people
@@matthewflatt4126 dumbo, take it easy, this is just for fun, go to another place with your lessons of history, mrs Babonga is just show us a way to have fun and develop skills in arts, not vikings but celtic people use horned helmets in ceremonies and not just horns of cows but of a lot of animals, dont be a fool
The good thing is that after you create the basic part (cardboard and paper mache) you can decorate and paint in various fantastic ways. Enjoy!

What type of plastic wrap? Is it used for food packing?
