Only watched Excalibur fairly recently it's such a beautiful looking movie. Plague Dogs is a new one to me although I can definitely remember being horrified by Watership Down as a kid in the 80's.

Plague Dogs is an amazing film, but a very tough watch. The story begins with explicit animal torture, and things don't get much better for the dogs after that. This is one of those films that you have to see and is superbly crafted, but isn't an enjoyable experience at all.
