Probably because they're quite rare? - but with a smooth 227hp and a 6 speed (even the autos scoot hard!) - these outpowered other hot hatches of their day...and arguably look better doing so! Safe, fast, reliable, rare, practical, comfortable and leaded with all kinds of luxuries (the Audiodyne sound system is men-tal!)....i highly recommend you try one

The Z3 isn't popular cuz everyone gives it the bad rep since most people think BMW'S aren't reliable enough. The Z3 and Z4 are just a faster and more HP version of the much loved Miata

I really was hoping you'd mention the 2nd gen Toyota Solara v6 on this list, but you also left out the Lexus IS 300, IS 250, 3rd gen Mitsubishi Eclipse, Chevy Monte Carlo SS, and Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. Guess it doesn't really matter. Still, the Solara is better than the Acura TL in most respects. It has a faster 0-60 and similar quarter mile time, tighter turning radius, larger trunk, sportier looks as a coupe but with similar or slightly smaller interior space, and it's less common on the road. The Acura TL does have better tech (bluetooth, voice activated navigation, and dual zone climate), but it is more expensive, so pick your poison as you would say. The big thing is it's more reliable due to its Camry roots and comes as a convertible. Recommend you talk about this car!

I've had 2 Z4's. The later E86 with 265hp is a sweeeet machine. And the N52 is (almost (bulletproof) reliable
