I remember working with Suede and we did not like each other at all. He was low key trying to son me on the job because I was new but he did not know I worked there for fun & just to get my boy Alvin in to a job as that was his first. Anyway we spit rhymes at each other 1 night and I did not know they were working hard on really coming out with music. I kind of dissed him a little in my raps but not personally.. also I was never a rapper. Bottom line is Suede had flow and a different style nobody used at the time. Camp Lo had dope material. I believe they did not go platinum because they dropped their first single 2 years too early. They were before their time.
