Im working on starting a virtual bookkeeping business and it’s been fun doing all the research. However, Even though I’m not at the stage to acquire clients, I am so nervous to put myself out there to get clients. I have just been trying to stay motivated and remember why I NEED to do this. 😁😁

What about someone who has.No prior experience ? I took the qbo pro advisor and I passed it . But man. I feel like I need more training not to mention the actual hands on. Do you provide a scenario of sitting down with a client and asking the right questions to them ? The qbo exam is a bit difficult and yet you don’t learn much from it. I want to make 70K a year from QB . Just something that alllws me to work. M-T 8-2:30 pm

Hi. I m struggling with this. I'm in Venezuela. Here, we must retain 75% of the VAT amount of any invoice. However, I have not figured it out how I can do that in Quickbooks Online. Would you happen to know how to do that?

Speaking of Payroll, I took a payroll class and the professor told me if you want to provide payroll services, don't do it manually lol too many laws to remember as well as penalties.

Hi! Yes, it can definitely be discouraging when you're looking for clients. I would recommend that you start networking with real people around you. See what friends/neighbors/colleagues need a bookkeeper (post on your personal Facebook) and try to find an accountant who can refer clients to you. Best of luck!!
I see this comment was posted 4 months ago at this time. Have you had any developments? I'm studying QBOA a couple hours per day while working my 9-5 (6-3 really). I'm at the very beginning of this process but I need something that's mine. Hearing other people's experiences is really motivating but also a good reality check that this is still real life and not all roses. I hope you are well and 🙏 respond. ✌️&❤
