You should check out some equal weighted etfs. We like some of the equal weighted etfs that track the FTSE 100 or S&P 500. It's a great play on smaller companies in the big indices
I got into VWO and will average in over the next month or two. I really like the HDV ETF, I'm a little obsessive with dividend yields. Still new to investing but I enjoy it very much. Thanks for the video!
hoho. Dividend is not a bad thing to be obsessed with! Just make sure you don't sacrifice all growth for dividend, because growth can really give some great returns.,
Greeting from Greece. Your channel is amazing. Your videos and the information that you provide are simple and educational. I am new on the field and as a broker I have chosen the Degiro, which has extremely low fees. Now, I interesting to invest some money to the QQQC, BOTZ, VGT ETFs, but i cannot find them on Degrio, so maybe it does not provide them. Are there any similar ETFs like the above 3, which a European citizen can buy ? I had the same problem with the Vanguard ETF of the S&P 500, but I found the VUSA ETF (Euronext Amsterdam, provided by Degiro) and I bought it. Thank you.
i personally really like the schwab broad market index. It has a very low cost (0.03%) and has a mix of mid- and large-cap companies in the U.S. So basically a good index for the U.S stock market, but with higher growth potential than the S&P 500.
They seem like regular tech ETFs. I think all companies will try and make use of block chain technology in the future so I don't see the need for such ETFs. They are probably going to be very expensive since they're issued by small provider. You're probably better off just buying a regular Vanguard or SPDR tech etf. My two cents ;)
A financial mentorI know recommends a portfolio that consists of 90% VTI & VB, and then only 10% of anything else you want. This is his recommendation for long term growth with an estimated return of 9.7% annually. Whats your thoughts on this strategy? I really like other ETFs and would like to incorporate more than 10%
Mommy Amensua that is a great strategy. Your mentor seems like a wise investor. I like to play around with more than 10% because some sectors are going to do a lot better than others. Good luck
You should include SNSR it does have a exp ratio .68% but this ETS has a broader perspective of the semiconductor sector which will focus on making the smart device chips
i had same question. i think robo has done a bit better, so maybe it warrants the additional cost? Great videos, straight and to the point. you got another sub. keep them coming. happy new year!
I don't look at past performance, but rather what companies I'm investing in. I prefer the companies in BOTZ, but ROBO is a good investment as well! Glad to have to on board!
I would recommend CQQQ instead of QQQC in terms of profit growth, I come from China and am aware of that Tencent and Alibaba are the two dominant internet Giants Too big to fail
I must admit I've sort of changed my mind and I like the holdings of CQQQ better than QQQC. BUT QQQC dividend is massive and BABA is one of my biggest holdings, so I dont mind BABA not being the largest holding in QQQC.
I recommend going with only one broad market ETF for the US. If you want more exposure to a specific industry, pick one Vanguard industry ETF (VGT, VFH etc). Then if you also want international exposure, go with one for Europe(VGK), one for Asia(VPL) or one Total stock market international (VT). So a maximum of 4-5.

Any ETFs in particular you like?

sounds like a kickass index.
Any updated views on this one year later
I would add ITA
Will you be adding that in your portfolio
Do you prefer qqqc or botz if you could only pick 1
botz
Hi. Should you invest in etfs and stocks in the same sector? Which is better etfs or individual stocks?
I pick individual stocks, but if you don't want to do research on companies than ETFs is the way to go.
@@stoicinvestor123 Cool.
Nice big list but not too big. Good amount of explaining but not too much. Great job
good comment, not too long not too short. =D
Investing for all hahah
What's your opinion on China and India?
I think everyone should own at least one big Chinese stock, maybe a big tech company. I have no idea about India
@@stoicinvestor123 Ok.
Any comment on the new block ETF's like BLCN and BLOK?

Hello! Do you recommend BOTZ over ROBO?
Yes. I prefer the company weighting (priority of companies) and its annual fee of 0.68% vs the 0.90%of ROBO, if I recall correctly.
i had same question. i think robo has done a bit better, so maybe it warrants the additional cost?

How do you decide how many shares to buy to Make a good investment?
Buy as many as you can afford unless you're setting aside money for another investment.

Are ETF's more expensive to top up monthly (say £100 pounds) vs an index?
Probably, since you pay broker fee for every "top up". If your broker offers really cheap index funds (
Great information!
How many ETFs should you hold in a portfolio as compared to single stocks? or can you do well with just ETFs alone?

So which one is Asia one? I see VPL, but that one does not have China. Any ETF that focus on South Korea, Japan, and China?
