Yeah that's living on the edge😮
The thing about it when you're sailing alone and there's no other vessels in sight, somebody goes in the water then they're going to stay in the water until the sails can be lowered and the kicker engine put back in the water to make a loop to pick them up. If you're without a life vest and you are maybe not in the greatest shape or maybe middle-aged or so you may not be as strong a swimmer in that kind of sea as you think you would be. That's when they put you in a body bag😢

Never been sailing either Liz. I would have tapped out lol once the wind picked up past 5 knots! Because I too get sea sick. Y’all seemed like you had fun no matter what. Your oldest looked so proud and I could see dad rooting him on!

Bigger boat and everything is smoother, Fin should of had rod and reel then he would have been good. Now your in the wide open land of Idaho, for me that better even during the winter ✌🏻👍🇺🇸

They wouldn’t let us have a rod on the boat. We tried 🤷‍♀️

Other than the seasickness, sailing looks like a lot of fun!

Yeah...even though it looked like they did a good job sailing it...I'll stick to the rivers.

No life vests on the adults?
