    This is my favorite video from your channel!! You do a thorough job showing and explaining the baits you have had success with and even better that these baits you show in this video are unsponsored to you which shows me a genuine review of proven baits that work! Your channel is one of the best crappie fishing channels for anglers of all experience levels!! I’m proud to be part of the 903 fishing family!!

    That is the best Walmart I've ever seen. Such a huge place and so many selections. Over here in Northern Virginia don't have much selections at all.

    But our Walmart stocks trout and bass tackle and just a few crappie baits.. looking at your Walmart makes me envious as hell..!!

    During winter in my area of eastern NC, you can't beat a plain ol unpainted double 1/32oz jighead rig with a pearl or black and chartreuse tube jig during summer/winter. There's something about that slow fall while drifting in the current that's drives crappie wild.

    • @903fishing

      Man they should be spreading brother. Bonehead is local down here. But he is spreading out and putting his lures in major retail stores. I wouldn’t doubt if they make their way over there for sure.

    I'm a big walleye guy and i've learned fish are colorblind...just a gimick to make you buy more...i've proven to my buddys that you can literally change color on every cast and still catch em....if fish are hungry they dont care...theyre not that smart....i like to crappie fish occasionally so i will try the ones youre suggesting for sure

    • @903fishing
      @903fishing  Год назад

      I wouldn’t go as far to say fish are color blind. They may have a harder time seeing certain colors or pigments. And walleye are different than crappie brother. I have definitely seen color matter when crappie fishing. They are their own beast lol thanks for watching! God bless!

    • @jammonjohn5398

      @@903fishing plenty of data out there....just google it....also if you're crushing them on blue theres plenty of other anglers out the killin em on 20 other different colors. But...if you wanna fill your tackle bag with every lure in every color...have at it....i do it too lol....just dont blame it on anything other than its fun buying lures lol.

    Try Creme 1.5" shad in cream/white color, it has good tail end swimming action, the rest of stuff by bobby garland and others don't. The others work but they have absolutely no swimming action. In fact forget them all, just get that creme silver lipless crankbait. It will catch anything, one lure to does it all and it won't get destroyed. Save money.

    • @903fishing
      @903fishing  2 года назад

      We don’t use crank baits for crappie in Texas. Might accidentally catch one while bass fishing with a crank every now and then. I do love baits with paddle tails, like you said great action. Thanks for watching and commenting! God bless

      Depend on how I am fishing. Casting, vertical jigging, jig and bobber etc. but I typically use 10# braid for everything. We fish heavy structure in Texas 90% of the time. If I am sick shooting or popping a jig off the bottom of the creek, it’s 6# mono! Thanks for watching! God bless!

    I like Bobby Garland baits but they're too soft in my opinion. They only last 1 - 3 fish maybe. Also during the spring and summer trying to find anything fishing was impossible in my area. So I had to result in buying everything online.

    • @903fishing
      @903fishing  4 года назад

      I definitely agree with some of the things you said brother. However, this video was to reach people that went to go to Walmart and academy to buy their baits. But definitely agree with that brother

    • @AlphaQHard

      If you want the baits to last 4-6 fish at least try cutting off the baitholder spikes on the jig heads (you can do with with nail clippers) and dabbing some gorilla or krazy glue around the jig before putting on the soft plastic. I find that that baitholder spike compromises the bait right off the bat by spreading it too much
