Love these type of videos from the two of you. I also have a very wide variety of different baits. My schedule as a truck driver has allowed me to fish in 14 different states so far. I have had great success with a variety of grubs and swim baits. Just now getting more into the finesse type fishing with the 2" and smaller baits. I also find the Bobby Garland baits quite versatile as well as the trout magnets and crappie assassins. Keep up the awesome videos.😊😊😊👍👍
I like these kind of videos. i recently started fishing again, and I feel like i"m having to learn everything all over again. Hopefully, more of these kind of videos will shorten my learning curve.
Loved this video. Your tackle box would work all over the country. I use hair jigs in really cold water for crappie and white bass. I appreciate that you share so much information. Love you guys
Re- watched this video for fall crappie. Had several of those baits in my tackle box for years, but never tried them. But thanks to this video I have been slaying the Slab crappies. Black Lake in the 1000 Islands gave up a limit 3 consecutive days. Left with a sore wrist from winding those slabs 😄😄😄Wow🔥🔥🔥🔥 Best days of Crappie fishing I've had since growing up. My Grams and I use to slay slabs when I was a kid in Florida; but we called them Speckled Perch. I live in upstate NY now, about 3 miles from Lake Ontario.
*Exceeded my expectations **enjoyable.fishing** recommend in quality & appearance - bought this for my 9 yr old daughter, but would recommend it for any age girl*
Hey you two, love your channel. My favorite crappie bait is a minnow shaped tube in a shad color, plus it has a red belly. I believe Southern Pro makes them. My second is a marabou hair jig in red/white or blue/white. Congrats on the baby and keep up the good work. Oh, and I live in N.E. Oklahoma.
Great show! Jay looks like she has so much fun. I will look for one of your videos on how the run the jig hooks in each type of tube. Thanks so much from IOWA!!!
I was tickled to see some of the bobbers y'all gathered an salvaged in that box..that was the very video that got me tuned in to your awesome channel !! Yaaay😁😁😁😁
I wonder what Jay is really thinkin' when Cole goes into these deep dive description on all these top secret fishin' baits? Great couple. Love watchin'!
Jay you gotta share the love Babygirl. How else your subscribers gonna know the next time what type of baits you guys need. Cole keeps saying they hard to find. He just put over 1500 subs on the lookout for them.. Lol
I enjoy three different rubber jigs when it comes to crappie fishing and they are Berkley powerbait floating 3 inch worms, Bobby Garland baby minnow shad and the vmc crayfish jigs. These three are perfect for crappies, nail them every time. Great video. I enjoyed watching.
The Great reveal ! Thanks, you have given me knowledge to tackle the Crappie. Cole you remind me of my nephew, and Jay, you are the model of the best women in Arkansas. I lived in Batesville, and I know that state. Oh and I have already subscribed before this.
Hey another thing that love about you guys his how clean and orderly your house is everytime you do an indoor video,,whether it be deep fry,, clean and cook,(like this one),,your favs,,thanks for this vid...I have most of all what you have too only black for up here in PA..Black Is my most catcher of any fish..Solid black to boot!!!!

in your video you said what is my favorite jigs are my favorites are the bobbie garland baby shad crappie magnits my favorite colors are white and green sharptrouse
Those Flukes are great here in Va. I've caught crappie, walleye, largemouth, and stripers on them. My favorite is the albino shad. I also like the 2 inch grub in silk chartreuse for crappie and walleye.
Great video like all those lures some are cool others I don't like so much but if they work for you then great. Stay safe my friends. Looking for more awesome videos.
I fish in the ozarks using lake fork baby shad white, red thunder, char green also use Bobby garland shad red thunder, white ,Vegas ,all garland baits color work but those are my favorites 🎣😃
Great video. Been on binge watching and ENJOYING them. Something to try is Lunker City Fin-S Fish. It's 2.5 ". Also the Fin-S Shad 1.75". There are some really great colors. Many times caught 2+ slabs on that 1.75. Keep lines tight.
Excellent,Excellent and Excellent information. What bait will go good with cat fish? And thank you so much for sharing.i know you and jay didn't have to do that.what a great couple and team you both are.
I’m fish Illinois and Missouri and use Berkley Power Grubs 2 or 3 inch. The best were the Pumpkin seed/chartreuse but they stop making them. They also stop making the chartreuse tournament strength which had a longer tail. Both were very great baits. I now use natural/chartreuse or chartreuse and Berkley Power Bait shad paddle tail in shad or pearl colors. I catch everything from Bluegill, crappie, white bass, walleye, channel cat or large and smallmouth bass. I might need to try some of your choices next year. Thank you for sharing.
Friday Hillsville pa caught small crappie. Probably last day off season gonna turn cold Was 60 and sunny. I will leave you all on this note. Just when you think you have all the answers. Someone changes the question. Happy holidays merry xmas

Thank y'all for that information!! Yes, you can tell the ones who doesn't catch any crappie! They have the best organised tackle box! Neat and clean!lol. LIVE FOR THE THUMP MY FRIENDS!!!
My favorites are Southern pro 2-in hot grubs and anything dark with a chartreuse tail works but my absolute favorite is June bug chartreuse. I also dip the chartreuse tails in Spike-It garlic scent chartreuse to make them brighter. I live in South Carolina and I order them from Grizzly Jig and get them in bulk, it's much cheaper. 😁👌
Just stumbled upon this video. I really like the Charlie Brewer Sliders in Pink/Pearl tail, Funky monkey and True pro blue 2” paddle tail. For tubes I use the Northland Slurpee small Fry in Silver Shiner and Perch and the BPS Squirmin Squirts in bubblegum, Pearl and green pumpkin road kill. I live in NE Illinois and have luck from here to Minocqua, WI with these jigs.
Hi Cole and Jay, Can you show us how you are rigging your lines for Crappie and is it the same for any fish? Catfish, I know but rigging for Crappie is what I would like to learn.
Nicely done. Very informative. Thanks for sharing. Just as a side note, in my Christmas list to Santa this year, I'm wishing for crappie, stripers, catfish and frogs to be here in Alaska to catch and devour !!! Not gonna hold my breath, but one can wish ! As always, Good things come to those who bait !!
C & J, - We know you are both big on lure fishing; You could try making some dough, like the carp anglers do, to catch some Croppie etc on! Seriously, they will bite on it! Other fish species do! Use the water where you are going to fish in, or tank water, if area water is too muddy, Not treated tap water! First!, - put small amount water in container; mix some food flavor powder into flour/corn meal! Not burny spices etc! Add Small amounts of food powder into water, stir, knead, make into dough, Not sticky, not too dry! That's basically it! Put small dough pieces on (small) hook/s! To add food scent to lures, especially soft rubber/plastics, put some food powder as above in container, shake lures around, leave inside for some time, to absorb powder flavor! Then, catch some big'uns! 🐟🐠🐟🐠
live in far NE oklahoma between grand, hudson, fort gibson, eucha, and spavinaw. we use nothing but bobby garland baits. usually patriot, blue thunder, blue ice, and monkey milk are our favorites.
Great stuff, especially since I am going to gearing back up for crappie over the winter. Here in PA most of the crappie I have caught were on live minnows, but when I have caught them on artificial s it’s been on the Berkeley white grub.
I've used a lot of these and same colors, but I think my favorite are my hand tied Marabou jigs. Ive made them in white, grey, chartreuse, and a layered one, grey on top, chartreuse thin line in the center and a white belly.
Darcizzles channel does that all the time and also where they fish. Shows how much confidence they have in their profession Darcy and Puddin' (aka Brian) and to get more folks fishing.
Fish on Otay Lake in San Diego CA problem is you can see down to around 10 feet the lake is crystal clear. What can I use for catching largemouth I like using a bait caster and a sit on kayak.
Good job Cole! I might add, I’ve been using Bonehead jigs for several years now. (Their home office is here where I live.) I have caught a lot of Crappie on their Stump Bug. It is great in the spring. Best colors here are black/chartreuse, white/chartreuse, and I like a rust/blue.
Just found your channel and this video. I’d rather fish for crappie/panfish than bass. I live in SW Pennsylvania and use mostly jigs I hand tie. Very rarely do I use plastics. I think the natural materials have more natural action. Feathers/hair mimic fins naturally
Okay, I’m in Northern Virginia and my favorite crappie lure is the Bobby Garland 2” baby Shad in monkey milk and electric chicken. I’ve been able to pull in 2 state citation crappie at 18/17 inches and 2.7-2.5 lbs.

Here in Virginia Fall slabs are important. White obviously the majority color, yet blue and black mixed color helps, eighth oz. Seems to work best and the slow action drives them crazy. A front coming in , possibly a sixteenth oz. Color helps me get confident but action work's for me! White with soft blue, it crushes them. They can't help it on the Potomac 😝. Great stuff 👍, thanks. Too early for merry Christmas, fish on, if you can😋. Take care guys, I know you got my gift, saw it! Take care!!! Fork tail needs a special bite relating to the baitfish on hand.
Get yourself some garlic extract in the baking spice aisle in your grocery store. Comes in little 1-2 ounce bottles, usually with a paper box packaging for the bottles.

Cole you are a blessed man to have J as wife. I’m 71 now so I have seen many people in my life and your wife has to be the sweetest lady I can think of. May God bless both of you with a perfect and healthy baby. 🙏🏼❤️
@@COLE_and_JAY You're welcome, Cole and Jay. Can I be your new friend? I'm Jhamir, but I called myself JJ Jxmmi, the follower of Slim Jxmmi from Rae Sremmurd
I don't have Crappie to fish for up here but I fish for Walleye. Purple grubs with a green flake or black grubs or yellow Grubs. Those three work great. We have another lure it is called the Blue Fox Vibrotail in pearlescent jig. Back in the 90's I think it was they came out with a thing sold by infomercials called The Flying Lure. This lure in purple with green flake, put all other lures to shame. I don't know why they stopped making them but while they were around there was no better rubber lure.
Any freshwater soft plastic usually 4in or less in watermelon red flake, albino, or white/pearl are killer in the ponds where I use to live. Lures I used flukes, stick style worms in the above colors. That was when I was living on Long island in NY. Since moving to connecticut, I got rid of all my baits, lures and now started over. Now I opted to use just micro lures if you will 3in or less for all fishing except for my medium action style baits and lures that I can cast well on bait caster only. Everything else are ultra light tackle to be used on a 7ft light rod, with a 30/3000size reel or would be compared to a 2000 reel with 6lb mono for ultra light tackle or light tackle.
Love these type of videos from the two of you.

In the dark water here in Florida chartreuse is really good along with orange and green but translucent is better than solid
Nice! The water in our home lake is tannic like most of Florida’s water and we see good results on translucent colors too!
Bobby Garland blue thunder in clear water & cajan cricket in stained water. In north Alabama.

Cole you are a blessed man to have J as wife. I’m 71 now so I have seen many people in my life and your wife has to be the sweetest lady I can think of. May God bless both of you with a perfect and healthy baby. 🙏🏼❤️
Thanks for sharing
No problem!
Awesome Cole and Jay🔥
Thank you!!!
@@COLE_and_JAY You're welcome, Cole and Jay. Can I be your new friend? I'm Jhamir, but I called myself JJ Jxmmi, the follower of Slim Jxmmi from Rae Sremmurd
Have you ever used Southern Pro minnow tubes?
We have, but not in a while! Need to pick up some more!
Hey Cole you should let Jay explain the baits sometimes. Mix it up some. Congratulations on the baby coming. GREAT FAN.
Thank you for your support!!!
Kitech Easy Shiners 2 inch have worked wonders for me.
Yes! So deadly!
Good family good channel 👍
Thanks!!!
Chartreuse bobby garlands work so good here in colorado
Awesome!
Can't find the minnow shape grub that looks good thanks for the info. Bobby Garland is good but to expensive for me.
Yeah the luck e strikes are awesome!
