Plenty of upgrades or there. Some simple free mods. Rear truck beds and roll bars. Some sites offer custom body parts. I love this truck. Some say, oh, it's too big. Get some smaller tires and a smaller body and you're good to go, besides they come with a sweet carrying case for travels and storage.
Those wheels and tires are what do it for me, I need those in my life. :D I think this particular FMS has a place in my collection for driving around the office and house. You know, for science. (BTW... The chat in the background about sending signals faster then the speed of light reminded me of my day wiring LEDs on my WPL D12 project. If I had sent myself a note at the speed of light, I'd have known in advance I was hot glue/luiquid electrical taping the wrong color harness on one turn signal side. So its green/purple instead of purple/purple because, you know turn signals are green and purple right?) 🌮 🚥
I actually used them on my JJRC q60 and it looks amazing. Check out episode 388 and you will see how I used them. And yeah, green, purple...all makes sense to me!
Yeah they are a outstanding rig, I have three of them the red one the limited addition one red and blue and recently got the grim reaper satin black it is beautiful just got done putting the brass Inner rings on the stock rims and tires big difference, interior would be awesome for this power wagon. Appreciate you sharing will follow for more
@@AMPROEngineering i see what you mean but if the tread did have more depth it would make a big difference. On my lunchbox i can actually do hill climbs when i turn the tires backwards. This brings me to question why do monster trucks use the tires in the direction of less traction?
I was wondering if you were joking about "doug". But before you got to the part where you checked the decals, I checked it out on Amazon and when I zoomed in on the photo, sure enough, there it is!! It reminds me of when I was a teenager. I bought a Suzuki scooter. While reading the manual under trouble shooting. "If the scooter doesn't start - check the tire pressure". I think these weird turn of phrase might be using something like Google translate. It is a little bit funny though.
@@AMPROEngineering to be fair I don't want to knock foreign companies that may rely on a third party for translation services. BUT, if you don't verify the details of what they actually say then you just shoot yourself in the foot. And it is funny! More power to Doug!!
@@AMPROEngineering I have never seen that. Who knows about a butchered one? I have never seen one but I doubt it would have tail lights at all. The regular ones I have seen and worked on and know they are always on the side of the box in front of the tailgate or on the fenders. I made a scale standard pickup bed on my FCX24 with extended rear links and moved my tail lights from the side of the bed to the fenders when they broke during a roll.

Yeah very true. I think I will merge this with the Mogrich.
These are amazing rigs once modified. Far better than the scx24. I do however wish there was body options. Specifically hard body
Yeah I am not a fan of these power wagons but I have pulled the axles and trans from this into my Glacier.
They’re also red oxide primer under the paint so you can relic it.. the bodies are identical to the 6x6 which they say is 1/18
Is yours that way? This one is not painted but that would be cool!

My pleasure! I really loved driving it. I was super surprised.
If you turn those tires the other way around grip goes up like 80%
I had tried that on the Mogrich and there was no change. They just have no depth.

Hahahahha! Tire pressure...nice. Yeah I saw that and I loved it. I think it is a licensing issue.

Great video Alberto :) such a cool little truck. The Tamiya ish box art is the first thing that jumped out at me lol
That is a very good point! Mechanically, it is amazing.
Looking forward to seeing the mods on this!!
Same!
Great job!
I can't get past the body with no box . It does perform well through .
Asplenia
Same problem I had. They now offer one with a bed and a bed to those who want one.
Mini crawler season🥰
It really is.
'Doug' lmao how accurate.
6:41 impressive
Best name for an RC Car ever.
Peel the window sticker!!! 😂
LOL i wanted to but someone wanted the body so I sold it like that.
Of course there is no tail lights. There is no tail to put them on.
Usually they are mounted to the frame on cars like this.

beats tamiya again....
Everything does at this point.
