I was at the Royal Albert Hall with my wife for the David Gilmour gig on the opening night, 9th October 2024. I haven't seen Dave Gilmour since Pink Floyd played Earls Court on the Division Bell tour in 1994. Amazing night and an amazing band! As for the critics. David hasn't been out on tour for a long time and let's not forget that he's 78 years old! He still exudes the magic that he had when I first saw Floyd in 1981 playing The Wall. Beautiful night! Again, amazing band and David is such a legend! 🔥 🎸 💥 🔥

La voix a un peu perdu, entendu dans les show de Rome (j'ignore pour ceux-ci ?) et c'est sans doute logique avec les affres du temps.
Mais le plus important est sa guitare, elle chante pour lui, elle chante pour nous, elle chante pour l'éternité et sa beauté divine nous fait vibrer et pleurer de joie pour toujours 🙏❤️🙏

Thank you for this we were there in a box(still cant believe we had a box at the royal albert hall for dave gilmour) I never got my phone out during the gig as I paid to watch the gig not a performance via my phone but it was nice to see the encore from a few angles. I still think they should ban phones though but this is where we are now, he even asked before it started but people everywhere watched most of the gig through a shitty phone lense, how fucking ridiculous. You get on a tube and everyone is looking down at their phone, if the world was to end 2 thirds of it would be moaning about no phone signal while the rest of us look for food, water and safe shelter. Those who cant live without phones will be the ones who save the rest of us while they stagger around unable to comunicate or form a sentence to another human.
Great to see DG1 on it after a couple of technical issues last week wich personally i found great & refreshing to see no running tapes etc everything 100% real even loses the strap & no fuss still belts out Cnumb! Anyhoo hes still got it blistering guitar solo & young Romany's energy along with Dad is fantastic l! Great upload 👌🎸👍
