Kameme literally had both games. He had the right read in both games, but messed up with the punish, very sad to see. :-/ GG ZeRo tho, his edgeguard was insane.
I think Kameme would've won this if he had used leaf shield offstage to gimp ZeRo. So many times, ZeRo was directly below the ledge, being forced to use the barrels. This is the perfect time to ledge trump with leaf shield. If Diddy is touched by even one leaf, he's dead instantly.
If he understood how to use leaf shield better, I'd think it would have worked out for him. A big tendency Kameme does have is never use that move in the neutral. I can see reasons why not to, but I also understand how to prevent it backfiring on yourself. For the most part he never needed it in a set like this, but where it would have made sense for even people who use it minimally is on the damn ledge.
3:54 is anyone wondering did ZeRo really escape? No, he didn’t kameme was a little too high to fast fall back down to the ground. And so ZeRo had the chance to mash or roll out. Yeah sadly kameme didn’t expect that too :(
