HOLLYFAWN | Warrior Cats MAP Part 74

Another MAP part for ‪@CheetehZ‬ ! Huge thanks to ‪@galaxymew‬ for doing the BG & effects and to ‪@NettIefang‬ for doing the comp!
This part was definitely a challenge, but it's what made me super excited to be working on it! I haven't actually animated a deer before but I had been wanting to so when Cheeteh Z released this MAP (multi animator project) I really couldn't resist. I also don't tend to do a lot of high action stuff but this really made me want to do more fight scenes.
A lot of this was out of my comfort zone so I'm pretty happy with the end result, though there's definitely some stuff I'd have adjusted if I had more time. My life has been SUPER busy lately as I recently started animating on a new show, so finding time for personal stuff has been tricky these past few weeks. But something cool that also happened recently is the show I spent nearly a year and a half animating on started airing! I've done bits and pieces on other shows, but this was my first time as an official animator on one. It's called Best and Bester for anyone who's interested!
I have a few more MAP parts I'm working on but after that I'm probably going to focus more on my own projects. Definitely need to take some time to work on stuff without the stress of deadlines haha.

This is such an awesome fight scene! I love the deer crouching down to fight, and at the start when it rears up on its hind legs and then immediately knocks holly with its antlers
