Bravo. Jeanne talks with a spare poetic edge IMHO. Architecture terms float to the surface from time to time but she speaks to people who aren't architects.
Architect Peter Marino has been the focus of two lawsuits accusing him of sexual harassment and racial discrimination by former employees. In December 2015 he was sued by Deirdre O'Brien, his former office manager, for making racist and sexist comments. In May 2016, Jonathan Michaud, a former textile specialist at the firm, filed a lawsuit in New York State Court, accusing Marino of sexually harassing him and making homophobic slurs. But as you can see he looks like a wholesome dude.
@@Love-tv5bs Seeing this weird looking guy with his crazy uniform prompted me to look into his professional background. That was where I found all the dirty laundry. He is a designer who caters to the glitzy boutique market. Not in the same league with serious thinkers like Steven Holl, Thom Mayne, Wolf Prix, Neil Denari, Eric Owen Moss, Wes Jones, Frank Gehry and Liz Diller.
@@rr7firefly absolute great investigative reporting. Thank you for sharing that. Yes, it would seem he is hiding something in that crazy uniform. Hopefully CBSunday Morning is reading this and will hire you.
@@Love-tv5bs What a nice thing to say. I would find such an assignment (working at CBS) a wonderful alternate life to the one I have now. If it meant getting to travel the world so much the better. My younger brother was actually a CBS reporter intern after college. //. As for Tiffany's store, the new interiors do nothing for me. No sense of the high profile that the store always presented. Now it all looks like over-illuminated stage sets, in some ways like big stores in shopping malls. The lighting is overly diffuse, with no sense of drama (as with more directional distribution, like visual punctuation).

Extended interviews always seem and probably are cut short. Why? Maybe call it an interview clip? I love CBS Sunday Mornings but the “extended interview” is not.
is shee really the most important woman in architecture??? I'd ARGUE and DARE SAY ZAHA HADID takes that TITLE BY A MILEEEEEEEEE her legacy lives on HER WORK IS NOTHING short of MONUMENTAL and BUILDER OF NATIONS creating a cultural national identity
I don't care how much he likes motorcycles, Peter Marino always looks like a reject from the Village People, and he's too old to play dress up every day. FFS, dress like a respectable grown-up!

And how do you know all this? Also seems like a strange dude.

Flintstones , meet the Flintstones, a modern prehistoric family…………..
Not sure how anyone could purchaser that diamond ring before walking outside and stepping over a homeless person.
Peter Marino destroyed the Tiffany & Co flagship store on 5th Ave.

i never knew her personally but i don’t think she would’ve appreciate other women in architecture being put down because of her legacy!
They are both shining stars! Who says that you have pick a favorite and double down - Admire Talent when you see it
Wow, half a billion dollars for something that reminds of a cave ride in a theme park in Orlando.
and your design is? please share! I would love to see more great designs!
Second comment! 🎉👏

Everything that's wrong with design.
It's not nice to make people go GACK
