- Using fighter aircraft in ground RB playing War Thunder is often hit and miss with me, mostly misses. Sometimes however, things just go your way and the stars align for a single match. I just had such a match in the French Br 4.3 F6F-5N.

Me as well I love the ww2 style, if I would recommend a plane I guess it would be stuka G1/2 (if you know the difference between them tell me please), because it is rather difficult for me to land shots e it is quite slow for the battle rating. I would also like to see some spitfire. In any case, keep strong and "have a good one".
@@wagnervenancius4103 Hi Wagner, the difference between them are the wings. The G1 uses the D-3 wing and the G2, the wings of the Stuka D-5. If you look at the stats, you are tiny bit better off using the G1 model, but the difference are so small that they can not be noticed with this type of aircraft. I don't think I have ever done a video on a spitfire, ill put it on the list ! lol yes, it is rather chunky, why I kept moving away to get some altitude and speed before going back in. Chunky planes also needs love.

Little bit late to the party but does the radar on the plane have a lead indicator? I know it has radar but in my mind I would doubt it has a lead indicator. If it does then if going to grind hard for it cuz I suck at leading shots haha
Hi Oreo, the bracket you can place on an aircraft with this radar will show you its distance and speed in m/s but no lead indicator.

You can actually get the beefed up Hellcat in the American tree at slightly less cost (since it's a rank 3 and the French version is basically a copy-paste at a rank higher). It works in all game modes and it's quite fun to fly this chonky plane.

i'm starting Sweden in my spare time atm, very humbling :P
The Swedish lower rank vehicles definitely forces you into a more defensive playstyle if you want to get the most out of them, with their heavy leaning towards tank destroyers. The early Swedish planes are pretty nice, although there is basically only one bomber aircraft on repeat, but it is a good one.
Good game Dane, US and germany trees discount is approaching and i have 2k GE left, which should i buy, the XP55 or the BV, btw i only play 2.3 br up to 4.3 realistic ground battles...thanks Dane
I think in that case, the XP-55 would serve you best. The BV can be fun in ground RB, but It is not something I would imagine you bringing out in every match. The XP-55 however, is cheaper to spawn in and more more suited to the ground RB playing style in general. I am also thinking about getting the XP-55. And thanks I get lucky from time to time.
