Glad this was helpful. Truth is, I HAD NO IDEA EITHER. I was going to play it multi-handed as I usually do, but when I went to grab the PDF to get the rules I found the "solo rules" and had to try them out.
Definitely feels like a "travel sized" version. As you said, stick it in the car/luggage. The only thing I think you missed was @ 20:30 when Guadalajara had an outbreak you didn't put a cube on Los Angeles. Otherwise, just a couple of strategy things I would have done differently. But ultimately, you won so great job!
