My Audi RS6 Performance is just over 18 months old and it's time to give it a new lease of life with a titanium Audi Sport Akrapovic exhaust system!

I actually thought JWW had a refined and nicer fan base. Now all I'm reading are idiots mentioning the Milltek exhaust.
If you are mentioning Milltek sounding better, you've probably watching decatted, Non Resonated loud and obnoxious RS6s from the streets of Mocano etc. Yes, it roars. Yes, it's louder than this. JWW addressed this, its used as a daily driver and did not want "loud and obnoxious". The guy treats his car with upmost care and wants quality pieces that also offer value and charisma to a car. A loud obnoxious purple RS6 wouldn't be a great daily driver.
You're complaining about the fact he chose Akrapovic over Milltek for Waranty purposes? Are you a mecanic? Are you an Audi Certified Specialist? Are you the owner of this car? No, you probably are not and you are definitely not the owner.
As mentioned in these comments, comparing 304 stainless steel to Titanium is like comparing your Honda to any luxury based brand. It's well engineered and not "as blunt' as the competition. Long term wise, it's a great choice.
Milltek exhaust are good if you're looking for a louder, more obnoxious car. To show off. Clearly you didn't even watch this video and the author's reasoning if you're even debating his choices.

I really love that all car bloggers do exhaust videos for their cars but it’s only really James that goes so in depth with his videos to talk you through it all fully, yet he still keeps his filming brilliance. Looks brilliant and a really enjoyable and entertaining video. Really good stuff!

Crazy James I've for one never thought an RS6 exhaust sounded bad, but when compared to new akrapovic it was night and day. Was in complete shock. Excellent choice as always James you really have great taste and smart thinking behind it all. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I prefer the large stock oval tips. Quad tips look more like S6

Such a weapon ! We had an Akrapovic system fitted on a clients Audi RS6 (since we partnered up with them in Belgium) and it sounds absolutely brutal !

You can't really drive Milltek daily. You'll be a nervous wreck in a month ... if one of your neighbours doesn't kill you by then. Akrapovic is a great, probably the best choice for the use he has in mind. It kinda sings more than it roars. I like that in exhausts and I'm glad he decided to put this one on.
James thinks like I do. This is a daily driver. I would chose Akrapovic over Miltek just because this is a long cruise daily driver. Miltek might feel good for a month but afterwards you would feel its a bit too loud for a long cruise. Akrapovic sits right in the middle, is not as loud as Miltek, still brings a bit of newness to the sound and you can still go on long cruises in comfort.

Love Akrapovic exhausts. Have had them on bikes in the past, great quality.
But I'm not sure on this pipe for two reasons.
1 - What's the current obsession with all exhaust manufacturers with the backfiring on the over-run? Think that would annoy me eventually.
2 - The look. I love how Audi RS's have the huge open oval pipes. To fill that with the double pipes giving a quad-pipe look makes it look a little more like an S6.

Oscar Miller Haha, if he turned round right now and said he was selling it, I probably couldn't buy it outright as I've just purchased my second house but in 5-6 months time no problem. If all else fails go and watch seen through glasses last video... I'm sure those guys would happily help me out :)

The new exhaust really is a sculpture of beauty. If wasn't on your car it wouldn't look out of place mounted on the wall at home .

Akrapovic... great. I remember when I got my M2 and went to the dealership before delivery - so great to unpack the system and then seeing it mounted. Great stuff and great video.

I have the same exhaust on my RS7. It sounds great. I tuned it to 710 HP!! A must with this exhaust!

Have you thought about having the car detailed as well by the way? It's a beautiful colour but it's not really popping anymore. Needs to be unleashed. I'd suggest looking at videos by White Details or Topaz to get you excited.

Also something to attribute the tone to is that the actual tips end before the final trim piece. If you had true tips dumping out of the rear valence it would probably sound even better. I don't know why so many companies do this now.

i had my exhaust fitted to mine from start, so cannot compare standard one to the sport
it sounds good and keeps friends and family entertained
the only other cars i would consider is the e63s or the m5, if they make a estate version
xfr estate with 5.0 supercharger and 600hp would also be interesting

Having fitted Akrapovic exhausts to 3 of my bikes, I can say they are seriously good quality. Great sound without getting the wrong sort of attention. Looks like they've got the hang of cars too!

Right decision to change the exchaust! I love my Akrapovic´ on my RS6 Performance. Perfect for a quiet daily trip with my dog and perfect in the dynamic mode do go fast and loud when i am alone in the car ;-)
