Why would they sell a Panamera Turbo s-e hybrid with a different badge? Tbh the normal Turbo is a better deal because of the weight difference.

    Honestly,
A Lusso would be INSANE. It's basically a V12 Shooting Brake which is my DREAM, and I imagine it would be quite enjoyable for you as well. However, you've done 30K miles on the RS6, and I can't imagine you'd want to throw 30K miles on a Lusso that quickly. Additionally, like you said, you need something to be very practical. Personally, I would go with the Panamera Sport Turismo, and would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see it on the channel.
    Please let us know soon

I am also an owner of a Audi RS6 Performance and I really have to say it's still the best estate (Avant) available for me. Still looking fresh, still feels super fast and still is the benchmark for everything that's coming from other manufacturers/brands. And let's be honest, it took MB/AMG a while to bring out a car that's "better" (at least on paper) or as good as the RS6 is. And the RS6 is a product of 2012/2013.......

The C7 RS6 is so popular on your channel as it's actually attainable for many of your viewers. Unlike much of the exotica that you own/drive.
I also fell under the spell, so went to buy a new one (after owning six Mercedes) but I guess I'm just getting old as I found it a bit too shouty and bit too compromised in ride quality for a true daily. So I bought the S6 Avant instead which is kind of like an RS6 "comfort".
The S6 does have a dual clutch gearbox unlike it's big brother, but I'd probably prefer the ZF 8 speed torque box if I'm completely honest. Whilst the dual clutch is undoubtedly fast when you're rolling and launching it often gets wrong footed at town speed and when manoeuvering.
There's always a compromise somewhere right?
We'll I'm only a little over a year into ownership of my S6 and the reality is it's the best car I've ever owned (as a daily with lots of performance) and it's unlikely to be replaced unless it starts going wrong. Even then I took the warranty extension from new to cover it for 5 years.
The other bonus? Audi will paint your car any colour you want for a reasonable amount of money (try asking Mercedes that!). So I currently own (at least at the time it was built) the only Audi S6 Avant in the world painted Orange Flame metallic (the Bentley colour).
Why change it James? It's only just run in at 30,000 miles.

Nice video as always. I have had my RS6 (V8) nearly three years.I am also thinking about replacement, but I am just not seeing anything out there that gives me the practical buzz like the RS6. I currently have a 2002 Opel Vectra B and I love my car(I know it's nothing compared to RS, but hey, it has sentimental worth to me) and I just don't see any good replacements for that car lol. It is a very difficult car to replace. I wouldn't go for the Lusso even though it's amazing looking and sounding. You already have the TDF and have an 812 incoming. Sure, these cars are quite different but at the same time they are a bit alike, big V12 engined Italian GT cars with a similar sound and interior feel. But since you already have the Range Rover with the big booth, why don't you look into something like the new BMW 8 series or the Mercedes CLS AMG?

Jeep Cherokee Trackhawk has the Hellcat 707hp hemi engine and it's slightly faster than the Urus and then first is the Tesla Model X with that ludicrous electric torque. The Stelvio Quadrifoglio is slightly behind the Urus. i say that because I'd rather the Stelvio to the other three as far as SUV's. I can't get an RS6 in Canada, they don't sell them in this market in this model range. Pure shame. They claim no one wants a shooting brake, estate here over the SUV. I'd rather a shooting brake any day. Like you said the GT4 Lusso v12 is pretty much the top of my list for dream daily, but the RS6 has always been in the top 5 and the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo is a mouthful but I think an amazing all around vehicle. All that said the reality is you smashed the spec on this RS6 and it would be shame to let that go at all. I've wanted an RS6 since before i can remember. the V10 version would be insane.

James, as a real British gentlemen, I think you should consider the new Jaguar XF-RS wagon when it comes out!!! The last gen was a real powerhouse, sounded mega and it also had a lot of space!!!

Great to see your RS6 back James, it's been missed, and way more of it please. And why haven't you given it the ABT treatment yet??!! #youknowitmakessenseandhastobedone

Go for the very irrational choice; the Lusso. Imagine three V12's in your garage, that would be nuts. And you have your Range Rover as your daily cruiser, and the Lusso as a more sporty 'daily' then. Looking forward to seeing this unfold in the future. Keep up the great work 😎

I have also read those very same rumours about the next RS6. heard that the "Performance" version would be getting the engine out of the Panamera Turbo S E-Hbrid. And that the regular RS6 would get the Panamera Turbo engine. Also same rumor for the next RS7.
Also I LOVE the RS6, also the other fast wagons.
I think you should hold on to it, since you are so happy with it.

The Panamera and Bentley Continental GT use a shared chassis, if the RS6 is put on that chassis then a hybrid power train would definitely be possible. As for the Urus V8, I've been told it's going into the Continental GT next year so it looks like VAG are sharing it about.

I think you should get the new model once its announced, you dont need a “4 seat f12” since you already have an f12.

Do an RS6 UK road trip and end up at a track day. Show how usable it is and how it will humble some serious supercar metal.

Take the RS6 to Litchfields and go Stage 2 (u already have the exhaust) then do a comparison video of what its like against stock with 720bhp.

Glad if the rumours are true that the RS6 is keeping the V8, was expecting them to down size it to a V6 or go full hybrid 2ltr.

Hold out for the release of the new RS6, its got heritage which I personally like. I reckon you should do an epic Christmas themed road trip in your current RS6 to Lapland. Looking at the map whatever route you took would be amazing. You could visit koenigsegg en route also dinner at Faviken.

I wish there were more options for wagons like this in the states. I would love to be able to get this. I wish Cadillac brought back their CTS-V wagon as well or maybe Dodge bringing back a new Magnum. The market is there for it if the car is worth it that's for sure

Otherwise the next RS6 or an E63s wagon
