In terms of the black friday you mentioned (at the 05:20 mark), on this day August 26th, 2024, Black friday is now 3 months and 2 days away on thanksgiving week (since Thanksgiving is on November 27th this year compared to last year. 07:45 The reasons I believe many would cheat online is either just for the fun of it (being a troll to other gamers), or simply due to the fact cheaters are really, really bad at playing the game normally and thus they wish to use cheats as a way to win every time. I'm pretty sure if these cheaters tried to do this say at an olympic competition or a competitive game at best, they would be banned for a good 5 decades until they learn their lesson and can come back due to trust or basically be banned indefinitely with no sight of ever forgiving or letting them back into the club ever again....I mean, if they even try to do this at a club like card games and tried to cheat, there would be severe repercussions to the individuals who cheat, regardless if they were involved or not...I personally putr cheats or mods into my game for single player simply the same way I would play an arcade game for say one hour or less due to boredom...But again, that's what music is there for to help with the boredom and let imagination run wild.....But again, it's a sad thing to see some players out there willing to commit to this despite a risk of getting banned from future games from the companies on steam if they know the user's name and block them from playing online multiplayer ever again....But considering that they can just switch IPs and getaway with it I do think the only way to truly stop them is for electric companies to look into those who cheat online and shut off their electricity for a good week or so.... Again, I may be bizarre and some dictator type of severities but the way these cheaters access the internet is through electricity and without electricity, you can't get internet or wi-fi unless you have backup generators, and even those don't last no more than 1 or 2 days at best unless you stockpiled it and use it in case of emergencies like natural disasters and such.
I hope SNK as a company adds more devs so that way we can get games from all their IP’s more frequently. Fatal Fury, Samurai Shodown, Art of Fighting and especially the King of Fighters would all be sick to see at higher frequency.
I think the reason the concurrent users on Steam has gone up so much in the last 4 years is because of the steam deck making handheld Windows gaming popular with ROG Ally and other handheld devices so basically these handheld devices are converting people into becoming PC gamers and one day they will buy expensive PCs and upgrade
The real reason is the international expansion of Steam. Steam on China alone has to have over 5 million users. Steam is available in like 75 countries and supported in 32 now. With full support on 12.
@@SRC267 Exactly, although i reached out to thier twitter page few years ago asking about the project and they said it's only a concept and they're not sure if they'll ever release it But seeing how the handheld industry is on fire today and dell being one of the 1st to make the pc handheld at that time kinda gives high hope that we'll be seeing the concept ufo soon (hopefully)

The switch outsold the ps4 in less time than the ps4 has been on the market, the generation leap lost a lot of players and the steam deck showed you can compete with Nintendo, and now the companies are seeing the handheld space as the next battlefield.

Well...I think what the graph doesn't account for with gaming on pc vs console is the expense of components. Some of that would keep some from adopting pc to begin with but even for those still playing we had to budget for cards as games became more demanding and it made playing on lesser hardware less appealing
Steam has seen an upward trend as would be expected so far as the increase in affordable hardware for which to play on steam in a portable package is concerned.
I've got a question. I came across an extra 250$ and I'm debating buying myself a mobile controller to make android emulation better or just buying a switch lite. I use a Samsung s23 fe and it emulate most things extremely well but I'm limited on internal memory so I'm only able to have 1-2 games at best so would it be a waste to buy a controller?
Is this Cactus related to Cactus Cowboy by any chance? I kinda know the dev of the Cactus Cowboy games from a German VR Discord and those have always been huge fun.
One thing I think that's good about cheaters in an early access game is that it's good for the devs to spot in this early period. I wouldn't be surprised if Valve asked some testers to go ahead and find ways to cheat for later security updates.
The problem with the handheld thing, at least from what I've seen, has nothing to do with current or promised performance; it all has to do with FOMO. People don't want to wait for the "next" thing, they want the thing NOW. I guess as we get older, we care less and less about that, but there will be a point where you wait yourself out of interest in it. Sometimes, the juice is worth the squeeze, even if you have to buy another fruit later on down the line.
Waiting yourself out of interest is a good thing, especially with time wasters Better to spend your money more constructively elsewhere if you lose interest so easily.
For me, I was never really a handheld person as that was only used outside of the house...But sometimes I'll listen to music instead of playing video games on the go. Sometimes we would bring the console with us, a TV strapped on the back seat of the truck, and play video games that way...Multitude of memories 20 years back....But for me, console and PC gaming has always been my go to, and when I couldn't play video games during Mondays thru Thursdays, I would play on the computer or watch TV. But once I came across the internet on September 17th, 2005 during a school project, I was mesmerized by the world wide web so much that I pretty much chucked video games to the side in favor of the internet. And once I came across youtube thanks to Google videos....I barely went back to console games and focused on PC instead... But yeah, for me, nowadays, I see consoles and handhelds as nothing more than collector's items. Something that can be passed down to younger and younger generations decades into the future for them to enjoy it just as much as we did 20/30/40 years back.
For emulation why no one creating x box emulation....but in switch emulation there so many but no one can perfectly can run stable ...many developer focusing on creating many variant of switch emu...and thanks to developer of VITA3K because I play some games perfectly that I want in my childhood in my phone but there are so many improvements just keep it up❤
I had never heard of Tom Henderson but now I have, it is for the wrong reasons. The most pointless vague statement you could never hope to read. Despite their less than stellar introduction, Qualcomm's new SOC's still have the greatest current market opportunities, so expect lower end versions that still blow much of the competition out of the water. The glacial pace of official development of the RK3588 leads me to believe that we are unlikely to see it in handhelds until 2025, into it's 3rd year since release. And even then, the market has moved on to reduce the potential advantage that it had upon first release.
Added all craps but still no independent soft triggers for L and R on android for on screen gamepad other than the 'latching' option. Mario Sunshine is still a pain in the arse to play on android via Dolphin. Would it kill them to add that two buttons? I have no respect for Dolphin devs, sorry, not sorry. 😏
