      Richie's a super nice guy. I ran into him at the US Open the day before his telecast and he was kind enough to chat with me for a few seconds.

    I'm always one to root for the underdog, the "little" guy, but damn you make it hard for me to root against you buddy! Especially when you take the time to talk with guys like Richie, I genuinely love you man. You are the perfect example of what a champion and a legend of his sport should be. Thank you

    I am amazed that a Professional in any sport would be as open as you are on this channel. I immediately became a fan of yours because of this open approach to Bowling fans regardless of their skill level. You are lending excitement to the sport of which you excel. I wish more of our super stars in the USA were as dedicated to growing their profession as you are. Well done Aussie and God Bless!

    Belmo is the poster child for someone who knows his equipment. Understands lane conditions. Always thinking ahead. And always has the confidence to know that no matter where he is on the leader board, he knows because of his ability, he always has a shot at winning. His ability to stay within himself is remarkable (and rare). Nothing affects him in a negative way. Always learning. That's why he's the best.

    Awesome start from the best. Honesty is appreciated on how you play the lanes, gives us an idea what you’re thinking, adjusting constantly, changing balls and speed to create the look, shape you need. No one does it better. Much applause 👏.

    WOW Jason, what a start! That was an incredible show that you put on in round 1! It makes me wonder what was the best start anyone has had in the first round of the Masters? What has been the best 5 game block ever in the Master? As I said in previous videos, I love the insights that you are giving us, like talking to Richie Teece after he finished and before you bowled. Then the updates that you gave us during the round. It shows how complex this game can be. Continued good luck in the rest of the tournament and looking forward to seeing you compete for the title! Impressive run. I looked at the standings last night and said OMG! 258 average with a bunch of 270s in there.
    Here's a noob tour question -- When players change pairs during a block, how much practice time on the new pair?

    • @95scTA
      @95scTA Год назад

      None, you just keep bowling. That is one of the hardest parts, as what Richard Reece was referring too and also when Jason moved to the lane he said people had been throwing urethane on. That is what makes its so impressive to see the score he put up.

    I’m working on sport shots for when I get to college, on most 2:1 ratio patterns I average 205. No where near were it needs to be but it’s improving. I’ve only been bowling for 4 years

  • @joshg218
    @joshg218 Год назад

    Knowing the pattern becomes more pronounced as they reapply it to the lanes, do you go into practice just trying to figure out how the house reacts to the pattern and assume the lanes to be more or less volume based on the patterns specs, do you use your prior knowledge of the center, or do you make an educated guess based off the practice session and select your balls off what you feel it will play like on days of live tournament bowling?
