Yes, love to hear from the athletes (especially Babsi and Jacopo) but I agree with the less cuts. Most of the people who watch this for the climbing content would probably like to see the movement rather than a bunch of cuts from position to position.
The weird non-subtle gear close-ups detracted a bit too. Why not just put a link in the description to the BD site to a blog post with some more shots, or a couple of those products and keep the art art? Stay classy, Black Diamond.
@@stevebarratt888 Remember, though, BD isn't just making this series because they love filming climbers and their accomplisments. It's easy to forget that this is, in fact, an advertisement. It's a very well executed one, like much of their stuff, but it's definitely an advertisement.
Great video but Black Diamond sell great helmets guys. As pro climbers, you have a responsibility to promote this. Love your climbing though, badass! Stay safe ❤️
@@palminator73 they aren’t responsible for promoting black diamond helmets lol. If black diamond needed then to they would have in this video, and more than just black diamond make good helmets. Any helmet is better than none too
@@somanayr I would say that a fall that high above the last clip would be around 8-10m and roughly two thirds of that below the last clip. The slope needs to be very steep then. But I guess they all know exactly what they're doing and everything's fine even if looks sketchy
Either yoinked up the rope and belayer progress captured or she lowered to the ground and started over. Looks like that was during pre-placed gear attempts so no biggie to pull the rope and leave gear.
No, it's an annoying trend ... the usual whining about cuts or music in well-made climbing "films" (notice the difference to uncut/raw footage of an ascent). No worries, I'm perfectly calm ;-)
@@deathmetalhablo It's quite simple: "Uncut/raw footage" and "films" are two different things; and both have their right to exist. Lame that bd marketed it as a big deal because she’s a woman. She’s climbing 8b+ on gear like any other pro climber. That’s badass regardless of gender
what a wonderful film, one of the best! and some very inspiring people with important messages. MORE!
Babsi Zangerl is a BEAST!! 😍💪💪
The foot work was almost mesmerizing, awesome video!
Yes !! Great video, more trad climbing content plz !
Babsi is always a treat.
Less cuts while climbing, please.

Agreed, and also keep more gear placements in! Seems like a no-brainer since BD sponsored and they sell cams.

It's good to know that BD crag packs are also good black lab bags!

Great looking roof section
Ahhh...beautiful place ❤️❤️
that heel at the beginning of the boulder was massive!
Amazing!
Power determination great climbing partner
Effn badass. Humans great freakier and more amazing.
I've been waiting for this!
Caporal is so stunning
What an achievement! Congrats!
Really good !
Pretty legit, good work.
Darn tree is doin doge a big bonk 1:56
Awesome
This looks like a harder/upgraded version of the original Separate Reality climb which introduced cams to the climbing world. :-)
Getting the gear out of that one will be a pain in the arse lol
Anyone know the song at 5:30?
Why is he pulling the rope so hard at 6:32?
Maybe he thought she’s about to fall. Or maybe it’s not the sending footage and she actually called “Take!” in that moment.
She most definitely asked for a take in that shot
New Kataki Model? With the rubber coating on the toes? Or modification? This shoe is amazing.
is it just me, or does it look like it would be a ground fall when falling right before the top?
It looks like the ground slopes down pretty steeply, so maybe it’s ok?

@@metaller1317 Check out the angle at 7:36 -- looks very steep! Like 45 degrees!
@@somanayr yeah, you're right. That is quite a significant drop.
Crack gloves are aid!!
Just kidding super inspiring ascent, what an awesome line!
How the hell do yo remove the cams after doing/trying the route?
If it is so overhanging, you have to climb it again in Top Rope
I want to see footage of Babsi pulling back onto the route after taking a fall that leaves her hanging in space. That would be informative.

She is such a fenom!
don't fall when getting to the chains....
Scusate l indiscrezione quanti hanni havete ciao
Actual climbing starts at 3:49
Komplett krass
I'd highly prefer showing the ascent without cuts and music!
Then I suggest you climb it and make another top quality film about it to watch for free on RUclips.

how do you get the friends out there after each try?
Good question. Perhaps rapelling?
Good question. Either climb or ascent with the other end of the rope I guess.

a bit of testosterone going down there ! no ?
It's in europe, why don't you include the European grade... how annoying.....
