Cool video. I was an air-cooled VW man since leaving school and had plenty of 50's and 60's bugs, a split screen type 2 and an early bay over the years. But I needed something new and I ended up getting a TR6, was a refreshing change I've got to say. Mechanically very different to the air-cooled stuff (which I still love), a lot of fun and enjoyable to drive.
Nice one. I have to say the TR6 was way better than I expected in terms of ride and good feeling and sounded nice too....and a cabrio is always good in the sun! I'm hoping to take out a Triumph GT Spit of someone I know once it back the road, possibly this summer, and an American muscle car is lined up for the nice weather. Temptation!! Well we will see 😅 Thanks for watching and the kind words 🙂👍
Did the right hand drive not come with the seats with the headrests? Funny to see that the right hand and the left hand 69 that I have the bonnet release is in the same place.
This sounds so sweet, so inspiring.
Thank you so much! Sure you will make Iain's day LOL :)

good choice, my two favourite british cars the Tr6 and the Healey 3000 mk2
Got to say I have a soft spot for Triumph Stags, have never even sat in one tho. Hopefully doing a vid this year with a mate and his MGB GT tho 🙂👍

I seem to remember he mentioned the seats weren't original actually but I didn't question why or what they were from sorry. They were confy tho :)
The early European P.I. cars didn't have headrests. 👍
This sounds so sweet, so inspiring.
Thankyou. I like the sound of that engine too 😄👍 Have you heard the 2.0l GT6 engine through a cherry bomb exhaust? That's something to behold! 😅
I own one of these cars without the overdrive. Even the color is the same. Rust is consuming it like the Titanic. I need to get to work. 🧑🔧
@@buckwheatINtheCity cool. Just need a bit of warm weather and get to it! LOL. If have any questions I happy to pass them on. Enjoy your ride 😄👍
