Love this install and effect that it has on the room and illuminating the equipment. Favorite color- Red! Go Chiefs!
Glad you like it 😉
@beckybliss895: GO Chiefs
Nice! Perfect amount of ambient light without being distracting. I like the green!
Love the effect it gives, great video buddy. I did the same with my rack, and you're right, super helpful when changing equipment or wiring.
Don't know how I'd see everything without them!
Great video and instructions. I’m putting my order in for a rack this month. Anyone have an idea of a controller that is Apple Home Kit compatible rather than Google/Alexa?
Did your installation require The purchase of two separate power supplies and two separate controllers or did you connect both front and back to the same power supply and controller?
One power supply for one controller, you can add all of the same color wires into the correct slot on the controller. Inhave one in my house with 4 different strips connected to one controller 👍🏼
Thank you. I very much enjoy your channel. You're a man of many talents across many areas.👍👍@@LifeofBliss
@angelone7202 thank very much, glad you're getting some value from watching!
Wow this is so cool Kyle I am trying to upgrade my rack still I will probably go with your rack. And I am probably going to get the 37U. Will those RGB lights fit in the 37U?
Yessir, you'll have just a little more left over than I did. Should work great!
White for me!
amazon - Supernight 5050 ....not sure why your cutting and soldering which is extra money ...these LED strips are super flexible ...just bend it through each 90 degree turn and cut it at the end >> I atteched mine with hot glue gun and it worked like a charm ....
Hey bud, did you watch the video? I didn't solder anything... I did exactly what you mentioned bending 90 degrees 😂 then just added extension wire to go to the controller. Solderless connector ftw
