Thanks bro! I really have no idea what I am talking about when it comes to sunfish lol I appreciate the knowledge and by the way I subbed to you! Thank you for watching!
Not true there are redbreast in some rivers in Florida
@@Fishpunch Not in the Everglades or anywhere in southern Florida. That's what I meant by "this part of the country". You're right though that they are found in central and northern Florida.
@@Fishpunch interesting... I don't know my sunfish
Thank you both for the information! I def learned something!
12:37 is a Bluegill The coloration on BlueGill varies from male to female and between individuals, bluegill is mostly what you are seeing. . You're probably seeing Florida Gar or long nose gar. As long as you know Largemouth bass, Spotted bass, Bluegill, Mayan Cichlids. Blue Talapia, Oscars, then Bowfin, Snook, Juvenile Tarpon, you're good to go out there. I appreciate your vids. Nice work.
Thank you so much for the knowledge! I know all the fish besides sunfish and the small cichlids. Thank you for watching!
Instead of night crawlers, try using cut squid tails. They can take a beating and you rarely have to rebait the hook.
I remember you saying that lol I have to try that
Thanks again E
Thank you for watching!
First two were spotted sunfish.
@@laurathia thank you!
Oscar are good eating too!
Yes, so I hear but I just don't trust the water quality lol thank you for watching!
Spotted Sunfish Lepomis punctatus
Thank you!!!
Have you seen any peas floating after the cold snap? We had some die off over here in Palm Beach county, overall it looks like they did OK.
This was filmed before the cold snap and I haven't been out since. Been slacking 😂 tomorrow I'm going fishing
@@JerZeyinflfishingchannel Catch em up. The gators, turtles, otters etc. took care of cleanup. You're usually a bit colder so hopefully they found some warm spots.
@@DanTheFireman last time there was a big cold snap I actually went fishing for the peacocks and they fed well. It was 40 something for a low and around 60 for a high
@@JerZeyinflfishingchannel i was along 41 today there was piles of dead oscars and chiclids and there was a dead peacock about every 5 yrds i didnt catch a single invasive im pretty sure 90 percent are gone
@@orrisyoder7592 thank you for the update! I haven't been out recently. That's unfortunate....I guess lol
Definitely not a pumpkinseed. Pretty sure it's a flier or a stump knocker
Awesome! Thank you, I am no sunfish expert. Thanks for watching!
I recognize that spot
Prove it 😂
@@JerZeyinflfishingchannel you know I know
@@bigsharkoutdoors nope
@@JerZeyinflfishingchannel yup you know
Green sunsish
Maybe? I'm not sure...
Get rid of that weight. Those look like bluegill.
Next time I'll try without and thank you for the ID and watching!
Pumpkinseed
What I thought but I don't know sunfish well.
