Simon Says127 I think he’s confindent enough to face and perform infront of everyone, the problem is, SOME of those so-called-nct-fucktards-stan (especially, SOME chinese who stan only one nct member and hates the rest, keep on dragging him down. He’s almost perfect that’s why they can’t contain their own insecurities but to throw shades unto him.
I know righttt i love Yuta somuch for being genuinely honest loving and caring to Taeyong, i actually notice that Taeyong probably has very low self-esteem which is so sad to see for a wonderful person like him :( since i myself had experienced it for years and still trying to overcome it, i know it's not very easy to just gain some confidence, i just feel concerned on how much taeyong must have always beaten himself up and always degrades or self depreciates himself :(( as someone who has experienced this myself, no matter how much alot of ppl come to tell you how truly amazing or even perfect you are, your own self is the one who made it all hard the most which is what i noticed in taeyong :(( he always sees the best in everyone but never considers himself as the best, he really does not see the perfection he has 😭😭 i feel so deeply concerned and sad for him😔💚

If anything it has been promoted in Japan, since that's where the concert is going to be held for the Japanese fans/audience. If you don't know things, stop spreading false info. B/c in a way you are also making NCT look bad since they are under SM..which at the end it will affect them, not SM. Talk bad about the label, people will dislike the label, new people won't want to be part of what comes from that label, who is under the label? NCT. There are people already who don't want anything to do with NCT, just b/c they come from SM. Stupid right? Well keep on throwing shade & that's what will happen.

I really love how yuta talked about nct's fashion! Some people like to clown them about it a lot, but they don't realize that its part of their concept. Nct is about being expirimental and different from other groups. They have their own style, and their outfits reflect that! Their goal isn't to have a style that everyone loves and is used to, it's to create their own. I hope more nctzens begin to appreciate how their style pushes the boundaries of current kpop fashion
Finally a NCTzen who GETS IT. It's not just part of their concept..it's part of THEM as a group/ Brand. You deserve all the likes in the world. I really dislike when their own fans comment: "what was the stylists thinking","sm what are you doing" No, NCT/SM/ Stylists know exactly what they are doing. Do their own fans want NCT to look like every other boy group out there? Aka not be unique?. I always see the same styling coming from boy groups nowadays, that's why there is not uniqueness in kpop as much as there was in 2nd generation kpop. If new fans have issues with their styling they should look up NCT127- Simon Says lyrics. NCT says it ALL there. Anyway SM has always made something for their groups that others follow, happened with SNSD concepts,styling/with EXO's uniforms,numbered shirts(that idols are still wearing till this day)etc.
ugh thank you, i'm so tired of ppl always complaining about their styling (like in limitless or fire truck for example) cause imo nct are very bold and unique for actually trying different things. they looked good in those eras anyway. ppl need to understand that you don't have to bash it if you don't like it.

+palm tree - if he was "trying to be humble", then they all would have said the same thing just to sound humble. But Taeyong has gotten a lot of hate especially pre-debut & as a rookie(he still does). So it sounds more like he doesn't find himself charming personality/talent wise. He of course is good on stage but that comes from practice. There is a difference between being confident & acting confident.

I apologise for getting the wrong idea, and for my poor choice of words. When I said he was "probably trying to be humble," I never meant to imply that he ISN'T humble, or was deliberately acting to make himself APPEAR humble. Taeyong is one of the most incredible idols I know of in both ability and nature. I'm aware of how considerate and talented he is; there's no need to convince me of that, and I knew about his troubles in the past with hate and false scandals. I didn't think to presume that he might have a low self esteem, and I acknowledge that my perspective as someone who admires him can cloud my judgement at times and make it difficult for me to believe that he would believe in the nonsense hate messages that idols do receive.
I should have worded my comment differently; and in the future I will be more careful with both what I accidentally imply, and in recognising the way my perspective can affect my judgement. Thank you for calling me out.

I love how when Taeyong said he wasn't sure what his charm was some of the members complimented him, especially Yuta. I mean, no doubt Taeyong probably gets tired of being called handsome all the time lol but seriously, he really is. But it's not even just his looks or his talent, he's really cute and soft on the inside and kind and very caring. I hope he finds what his charm is, cause he's amazing and I just hope he knows that. One of the only times in this interview when Taeyong shows himself. As always he's right there, he's always aware and paying full attention. As a rule he lets the others do most of the talking in interviews. It is their time to shine. And there is no doubt Taeyon knows WHO he is and WHAT he is...he is a Superstar in EVERY sense of the word. That he feels he can't OWN that and be SAFE while BEING that is what we who love & respect & admire him find so hard to watch.

I hope so too - I know that often idols are worked so hard that they don't get to see their family for sometimes years. I can't remember who it was, but I remember seeing some Kpop idol interviewed talking about how he hadn't managed to see him mum for years due to his training and schedule, and she came to see him at his concert (because he couldn't get time to see her), and it was weird because she'd got so old in the years he hadn't seen her.
It also reminds me of that SM Rookies video where Johnny got a phonecall from his parents for his birthday and he just cried. ):
