real nice headphones REEEEEALLY poor cups, no matter what model, I've owned them all, daily use making music, great sound, but the cups are craply made and fall to bits.
@Legendary Fish Well I use them for 8 hours a day every day practically, I have noisy student neighbours so If I am home I'm wearing them. I have however now found a supplier of replacement ear cups and they just clip on and off so even this is no longer a problem, I have refreshed all the cups on all my soundcore sets and they are good as new, :o)

Thank you very much! Just a side note: You said you needed to press it inwards, which is correct obviously, but I found that focusing on gently pulling it away while pressing inwards was the key (meaning you don't have to focus (!) on pressing and then pulling but rather pulling and pressing if that's understandable 😅).
Thanks for this. My Q30 earpads just worn off so bad like the foam is showing and the pads are flaking so badly. I don't find any replacement for the pad on the head though.
I wonder if you get rid of the white plastic cover and clip some of that plastic over the drivers (careful not to mess the microphone), the sound may get even better?
Sorry for the late reply. For some reason I did not get the notification. I bought it online from Shopee Malaysia. Not sure if you're able to use it though.
So you put the Q35 earcups on your Q30 huh? What do you think about them? would you say that they are even more confortable than the originals of the q30? Good video man
That looks nice and putting Q35 Cups On Q30 Will Make Q30 Even More Comfortable Than Before I Did An ULTIMATE COMPARISON VIDEO Q35 VS Q45 If your interested
@lizzam yeah I have q30 q35 and q45 . All are comfy but the q35 ear cups are very comfy so I know them on q30 will be nice and the q35 cups look better too
Thanks for the video. May i know how do you clean your earpads? i did some googleing and it says water, soap water, alcohol wipes, olive oil and stuff are bad for the leather lol. And also, did the headpads hold up?
Apart from occasionally wiping them with light soap, i don't clean them as much, especially since this is not shared. Headpads still padding, and I don't see much wear and tear there yet.
The alternative is to carefully take off the bracket and then remove the residue of old pads from bracket and then attach generic pads of similar size. Either you glue the flaps of generic pad or cut slits and make orginal brack snap back into place. Too many headphones use specialized pads.
I think the white ear pads would complete the look but I saved this video just in case if my ear pads start doing what yours did I have the soundcore life tunes
Have been using this for a couple of years. The foam on the headband have now crack and chipped away (still usable) and a part of the headband's plastic has broken (taped it up). Still something i wear at work all day long, but I don't travel with it as much anymore.
@@lizzam and there’s another question , how does ur headphone sounds in aux mode compared to Bluetooth , mine in wire the sound quality gets muffled and worse and ANC automatically turns off. But in the Bluetooth it’s fine ….. are u having the same problem ? Or try it out if u didn’t and kindly let me know
@@IqbalHossain-vg8vr I tried as per what you said. in Aux/wired mode, if the headphones are switched on the quality to me is actually better than BT. This might be the DAC on my PC and Phone's improving the audio, but I don't hear any muffled sounds. Songs and voices are clear. On ANC, my PC causes an electric hum, while my phone doesn't, so it might be an improperly shielded connection. Other than that, I don't face those problems. I rarely use wired though.
I live in a dry and not so hot country, and mine are also falling apart - for a 4 month old product, it is really really low durability - so it means that they're not great quality build - #anker_sucks >(
I looked this up expecting to find no videos on how to change the ear cushions, but here you are! Thanks for taking the time to explain this
Same here, my hopeless search turned out quite useful

Thanks! After Gooling some...... i never tought the earpads were replacible !
thanks mate,
my Q30 is now good as new!
Thanks for the tutorial, man. Hahaha relatable how u forgot to put in the white foam paper thing on one side.

Going through the same problem. Have them for 2 years. Lmk if you find out pls
i got them on amazon 8.95
I used a small flathead. Be careful to not go deep. Just the corners. It only takes a little bit (very small) amount of leverage to get the clips out
Now I can wash them! Thank you. Mine began to stink after 2 years of use
lmao😭 same
Thank you! It helps me 🌈
You're most welcome
thanks, used your video to got mine changed
Are 35s cushion more comfy?
i do feel my q35 cushions are better than my q30. if i had to guess, my q30 cushions aged much faster too than my q35's
I wonder if you get rid of the white plastic cover and clip some of that plastic over the drivers (careful not to mess the microphone), the sound may get even better?
might get too bright sounding
Don’t do that, if it’s there then it’s for a reason, best not to mess with it.
How about noise cancellation quality after the replacement?
Great work Thanks for the video
Video helped a lot!! Thanks
the squeezing part i did not know i was using a pry tool only and that could have broken the clips
My left speaker no sounds, do you have any idea how to fix it?
sorry can't help you there. it might be thr driver's connection got loose (cheap headphones tend to have that issues years ago)
bro can you drop the link of where you got the new cups
