    real nice headphones REEEEEALLY poor cups, no matter what model, I've owned them all, daily use making music, great sound, but the cups are craply made and fall to bits.

    • @Nine-Signs
      @Nine-Signs 2 года назад +3

      @Legendary Fish Well I use them for 8 hours a day every day practically, I have noisy student neighbours so If I am home I'm wearing them. I have however now found a supplier of replacement ear cups and they just clip on and off so even this is no longer a problem, I have refreshed all the cups on all my soundcore sets and they are good as new, :o)

      @@IqbalHossain-vg8vr Amazon my friend,
      Go there and pop the following into the amazon search box depending on what model you have.
      1 Pair Earpads Ear Cushions Protein Leather Replacement Repair Parts Compatible with Anker Soundcore Life Q20 Q20BT Wireless Headphones Black
      or:
      Replacement Earpads Cushions Earmuffs for Anker Soundcore Life Q30 / Q35 BT Headphones with Soft Protein Skin and Memory Sponge (Light Blue)
      They were fairly cheap for me and have done the job well.
      Tip:
      When you get the replacements, just grab the old pads by the material and pull/rip them off the set, it is the easiest way to remove them quickly and then you can see where the plastic retainer that held them in place is clipped, once you can see that it is pretty easy to use use finger nails and a guitare pic or small flathead screwdriver to get the clamp off, you'll see.
      Best wishes.

    Thank you very much! Just a side note: You said you needed to press it inwards, which is correct obviously, but I found that focusing on gently pulling it away while pressing inwards was the key (meaning you don't have to focus (!) on pressing and then pulling but rather pulling and pressing if that's understandable 😅).

      The alternative is to carefully take off the bracket and then remove the residue of old pads from bracket and then attach generic pads of similar size. Either you glue the flaps of generic pad or cut slits and make orginal brack snap back into place. Too many headphones use specialized pads.

      @@IqbalHossain-vg8vr I tried as per what you said. in Aux/wired mode, if the headphones are switched on the quality to me is actually better than BT. This might be the DAC on my PC and Phone's improving the audio, but I don't hear any muffled sounds. Songs and voices are clear.
      On ANC, my PC causes an electric hum, while my phone doesn't, so it might be an improperly shielded connection.
