Thanks for the nice quick video. Wanted to make sure I didn't break my favorite headphones replacing the split pad and now they are looking brand new again.
OH THANK YOUUUUU, I’m in love with this headphones and I use them all daaaay, even to work out so they were horribly dirty, I was pretty much sure they weren’t removable and I just quit it, until I found this video 😭😭♥️♥️♥️♥️ lifesaver ty!
thank you for this!! removing the caps was so stressful bc it keeps reattaching but putting the new pair on was really satisfying. thanks for the tutorial!
Very helpful. Thanks! (I was able to do it with a credit card, but something a bit stiffer would be better). Tip: it is possible to put them on upside down, mostly. But fit isn't quite right. So make sure they're right side up.
It' an older video, but I hope you'll read this: Thank you! It helped me to change tha pads :) I was afraid to make sth wrong, but with your help it was easy 👍
Thank you for this helpful video! At first it looked very complex but after listening to your explanation it was pretty simple my headphones are back in full piece! Much love and have a blessed day! 😊❤🙏🏻
Thanks, that works! I was a bit leery about how hard to pop them and this helped so much! (I hear chickens in the background! 🙂 We have some as well. 🙂)
Dull knife is also mine preffered tool for that job. Credit card might also work, but it is harder to remove with it. Some hard, thin plastic would also have worked I guess. These earphones are great, and earpads replacements are very cheap, an the ones from Aliexpress also work firne. I will never again buy earphones without removable earpads.
What is this white hair screen thing? Mine are looking a tad rough... Do I need to put them back in? What are they for? Can't find anything useful on Google...
They dampen the sound and also keep dust out. The ear pads already have a nylon screen attached to them to keep dust out. So, if you remove the white pads then it might change the sound a bit
Thank you for this ❤. Would you (or anyone who would read this) know if the cushion on the headband is also replaceable? If it is where can we order these cushions online?
Runolim WH301a are superior, cost ony €20...and tge earpads don't tear up as the Anker ones...which clearly is planned obsolescence since you can see that they consist of two parts that are weakly glued together.
I would say no unfortunately. Anker changes pads across most models. Q30 and Q35 share the same pads, but the rest are different from what I can see. They use plastic frames, so they are specific.
@@accessoryhouseHello again sir. I actually took the risk and ordered these cushions anyway. It seems like the Tune model is exactly the same so I had no problem chancing them with the help of this video. I also took a look at their site and it seems the models are indeed indentical and some comments I saw the only difference is the name (for marketing reasons 🤷🏻♂️). So in case someone had the same question as me, now they will know there will be no problem

Is the hair screen needed, does it change the sound quality it you remove them?
It is more for dirt than anything.
What's the size of the foam?
On the original pads it's about 2cm or 0.75 inches

These ear pads clip on with a plastic frame. The 99's use a slot around the side for skirting to slide in. I think the 99 pads are also much bigger
