I relate to a lot of what you said. Always able to show up for others with no problem, but never able to show up for myself. I had no idea that it was due to a lack of self-respect. I appreciate you for taking your time to make this video for all of us. 💯💚🙏
This was either a coincidence or divine intervention, but I needed to hear this today. Thank you for the video. I deeply appreciate you sharing this info ❤️
Thank You for the addition of perspective and epiphany against lingering in demoralization. I'll have to revisit this some day should I need a reminder that: -The goal is the Side effect of the journey. -Part of the growth of discipline involves lots of patience, self-compassion in practice, forgiveness and checking your expectations against reality -Becoming more aware of your relationship with yourself is also helpful in learning what needs work so you can gradually take any step needed whether physical or in mindset to make things happen for you if you want more. -You can think about weighing your current and past versions of yourself by reflection on the destination you want to go for the future but need to find or make what closure is needed for yourself to transition out of habits that no longer serve you in your goal plan/path for what you really need. -Noticing cognitive dissonance will be helpful in breaking some cycles more than others when you ask yourself "Is it really okay to want better for me and do I deserve it?" because saying no on that could often mean you haven't looked over something that may have been internalized/absorbed that convinced you to be your own self-defeating restraint. -Practicing self-love is another part of the journey -Sometimes to reflect and relate to yourself more you need to step outside yourself for a minute and that a third person approach can help you check your alignment.
I love how you associated it with lack of self respect insecurity of lack of discipline because I really feel like if you don’t love or respect yourself you can’t really be the person you came here to be ❤ this was a great video 😊
Hey I really agreed with most things you said, however being poor isn't the consequence of a bad mindset and I think that take undermines how many other issues come into place when it comes to poverty
This is so weird wow!! Just yesterday I talked to my therapist about this exact thing and the titel of this video was literally a thought of mine. Im looking forward to watching your video!
Thanks for this, im subbing after feeling the same way i used to during quarantine, where i rely so free and like I've evolved the most because i surrounded myself with videos and books like this message. The part where you said if one were to live every day with the same mentality they're just living the same day over and over again, hit hard.
This is a very good video! Discipline is a huge area of focus for me in 2024, and as someone also working on my self-esteem, the correlation between disciple and self-respect makes so much sense! Thanks for this!
I agree with most of what's said in this video, except for the why the poor stay poor and rich stay rich segment. There's a lot more too it as to why, and it starts with stratification. Why do you think that ceo was assasinated? Too many poor peoples claims were denied and many died. Thats not because "they just didn't have the right attitude"
Your words really resonated with me, thank you for this video (side note: i ADORE your hair, the curls are perfect and exactly what i want my hair to look like, what do you use?
The definition of discipline was not what I was expecting. But now I'll focus more on self respect rather than discipline
Rightt I was surprised too lol
always felt that forcing yourself to do smthn in the name of "discipline" was a bit strange...

Hey🌸 I see what you’re saying but I said STAYING poor is a result of a low self image. Obviously a 3rd world situation is different

Girls with BPD are sweating. (I’m girls)
don’t identify yourself as someone with BPD. you are just a human that may have some struggles.
Can you talk about having a anxious attachment live style in a relationship
Gotcha
Thank you, it was much needed!
