Useful video thanks. Once the tea is brewed, I was told to mix it with water on a 1:5 (water) ration. Diluted to a color of a mild drinking tea color.

Oh I just heard at the end that you dilute your tea with water for foliar spray 50:50. Sounds like it is going to be very potent. Danger or leave burn?
i have worked in production horticulture for 25 years using old farm practices eg.synthetic ferts,broad spectrum insecticdes i have found this video one of the best , to the point , no bullshit info vids the 23 thumbs down ,,there are allways a few know it alls that know f,,,all 23 of them it seems .Dude keep up the fantastic work you are also very engaging ,you had me captured right to the last air bubble GOOD JOB

When I started gardening in the place I live the soil was very dry and sandy (deep sand) after using compost and compost tea for the last 10 years it is now a rich worm filled nutrient living soil. The plants grow stronger, produce more and have way less disease and pests. I don't mind all the extra work it takes to be Organic and to create a living soil. This year I'm beginning work on the fungi and i'm very excited to see the results from that!! Love your videos ,you helped me a lot when I built my Chicken Coop/Run. thank you!!

Thanks for the great how to for aerated teas. I already make as much compost and worm castings as I have room for on a suburban block but have been putting off creating teas. I've just been using worm leachate to keep my compost moist and buying organic foliar sprays.

Funny I’ve lived on well water for 65 years. And If I try to drink Chlorinated water it makes me ill. My wife took a drink out of a drinking fountain at O’Hare Airport and had diarrhea before we landed in Dayton. That’s like 45 minutes. Good Video. Cheers!

Today, I was taking a trip down memory lane of videos that I have watched from you and found myself here. The need to appreciate you and your genuine teaching style is understated massively in our society, however there is a community that has always been here supporting and agreeing with you. And now to look at how far soil health science has come in just a few years. Now that I find myself in June 2020 (needless to describe our environment), I must express how much you have influenced me over the years and inspired me. Please, help me leave the central valley and it's monocultures behind, good people need good people and help more now than ever. I need to be around people that think like me, and if you had the grace to assist me in a direction, it would be beyond my gratefulness, it would be beneficial to the humanity that I wish to help, like you do my friend, as we slide into an interesting predicament here in June 2020.

I've made anaerobic tea for years, and the plants love it, I read somewhere that when you add fresh water to dilute it starts the airobotic action again, and the airobic microbes eat the anarobic ones and its all good,
Looks great! Will try as I get the worm castings started... along with my compost pile... I think I'm going to get the Worm Factory 360.
Worm castings are hands down the best fertilizer ever and you get the benefit of the microbes as well. Best of luck with your systems glad you are doing them, you'll love it!
Great video. I wish someone would make a video about all the tools and equipment needed for these kinds of processes. I’ve also heard Elaine Ingham talk about injecting biology into the soil underneath compaction layers, but I haven’t been able to find the equipment needed for that-at least not under $500 or $600 or more.

Its interesting you mention the decompostion at a ft. Of soil that produces smell and root rot ive found conditioning this soil is a great way to rejuvinate it

Great condensed explanation of how it all works , I got a lot from it . What do you suggest for a lawn & shrubs like azaleas & hydrangeas . I used a lot of chemicals on my lawn this year & am now going with microbe friendly plan . It’s a cold fall so compost tea is not an option , but I want to put down alfalfa meal in spring followed by compost tea . Am I on the right track ?

Really helpful informative teachings. Do you recommend keeping your compost tea in shade? Are there any plants that should not be added to compost piles or used in making green teas? I am thinking of tomato vines and suckers.

Thanks for spreading your knowledge! Question about your microscope analysis -- what are you looking for (microbially speaking), ratios of fungi, bacteria, protozoa, etc? Do you stain your sample with anything to make it easier to see the microbes?

Great video. My garden soil has improved immensely. But the biggest thing I've noticed since I've been using these techniques, is all the compliments I've been getting on my eyebrows.

So I was listening about the Humic Acid part, and I'm wondering if the Leatchate (worm run off from a worm bin) could be used instead of running water over compost? Or is that basically the same thing as putting the worm castings in at the end like you did? Great educational video, learning a ton!
With all this talk about aeration and aerobic, I know oxygen is good, but people have been “steeping” compost for a very long time and seems to work great. I’ve been throwing compost in a bucket , mixing it every few hours. Let it sit overnight for 6 years and it’s Very good stuff. Im starting to aerate now and will see if there’s any improvements?
I use spring water which has very high oxygen levels.
