I heard this on Elaine Page Sunday show on Radio 2. Antonio Banderas is great in this. Its a great song, very inspiring, and great direction of the cast.
I recall something a reviewer wrote about Banderas in this movie. They said that he sang like he was gargling sand. I disagree, he did a good job. He had more on screen charisma than Madonna did.
I agree that his "High Flying, Adored" is beautiful and my favorite rendition, but there was the problem of his thick accent. I knew nothing of the musical nor the woman when I first watched the film and was completely lost. I couldn't make out most of what he sang, which defeats his purpose as narrator.

Emotive , and a great mixture of Latin, Jazz and Rock.
Combined with Opera style choruses.
The fact that this is in 7/8 really lifts it and makes it move.

Honestly, I think Antonio did a better job than Patinkin's original depiction on Broadway.
