    This brings back the beautiful memory. I lived and worked there in 1990 for almost two years in 1990 as a single man. lived down the street next to Stanley Park, with a balcony off the bedroom in an indoor swimming pool tower. went dancing every night in Hotel Vancouver, dated several beautiful ladies in the world, designed and completed building several housing and nursing home for Vancouver. Vancouver is much like Hong Kong to me except it has clean air and less crowded, but just beautiful !

    I was in Vancouver during the month of August 2011. I visited and walked down the street Robinson several times. I live in the State of Rio de Janeiro, near the city of Rio de Janeiro. Both cities have a common characteristic: the ocean and mountains. I like Rio de Janeiro but I love Vancouver!

    I find it awesome that canadians hang their flags pretty much everywhere. Here,in my country, I believe that most people are ashamed of our flag because it has something really meaningful written on it, but the government acts almost completely on the opposite "direction". It's not that I hate my country, but I'm really proud of the canadian people. I've been to Canada once, and one of the only things I can think of now is that I want to go back to that amazing, ideal place.

    Most U.S. channels are available on cable or satellite here. Prices for most things are higher here because of import and transport costs so there is less variety of some things but there is always online shopping.

    Hey Brenda.
    If you want to move to Canada and become a citizen or a resident you need to be fully certified to work in Canada. This generally means that you have a university education that has provided you with international certification to do your job.
    You can also come as a student, which has far less requirements, but you need to be accepted into a school before you come.

    There were two Starbucks at one point across each other at the busy corner. It was unusual to me to see that . I lived a block from Stanley park at the end of Robson Street in a one bedroom apartment with a balcony off the bed,there were two balconies in my place, that was another ususal, but I had three beautiful blonde girl friends consecutively, that was the most unususl among all. Sorry about that. Finding royalty free music that is not crap is really hard and it's always a judgement call. I am an AdSense Partner (even though I don't put ads on most videos on this channel... mostly because of too many copyright fights with RUclips) and I am held to a very high standard or risk having videos removed or my channel shut down.

    ※I fixed a comment. ROBSON STREET,How lovely! I have been yearning to visit there. I think that I would like to study English in Toronto,but I think that Vancouver is nice,too. I can't decied whatever I study English in Toronto or Vancouver. My English teacher gave me advice "In my opinion, Canada is a good place",so thanks to him, I have made up my mind to study English in Canada.The first, I thougt that I study English in the Philippines,but The Philippines looks a terrible place.

    • @lanceschmidt3047
      @lanceschmidt3047 6 лет назад +1

      I think it is good if you study English in Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand. These are countries where English is the native language. I live in Canada in Vancouver, so I think Canada is a good choice! Toronto is a big city with many things to do, but it is cold and snowy in winter. Vancouver is a smaller, quieter city with not so much to do; but it is very beautiful and the weather is very nice except it rains a lot. :-)

      What is a Canadian? I am a Caucasian immigrant from the US who now has Canadian citizenship and has lived in Vancouver for the past 18 years. I work with Canadian citizens / permanent residents who immigrated from places such as South Africa, The Philippines, Iran, China, Ireland, Vietnam, Bulgaria, Russia, Ukraine, France, Scotland, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Fiji, Mauritius, and a host of other countries. Are Canadians the white people who were born here? Does it include all of us white people who immigrated here? Does it include First Nations who were here before anyone else? Is it everyone but Asians? What about the French speaking black African immigrants who are now citizens / permanent residents of Canada who work at my company? Are they Canadians, or do they fall outside your definition?
      Truth be told, I'm kind of suspicious of your surname. Hugo doesn't sound very Canadian. It sounds kind of foreign, like maybe some Spanish, Latin American or South American surname. Hopefully you don't live here in Canada but rather somewhere else where your your surname fits better with the country you live in. If you don't live here, then perhaps a visit would be okay. As long as you don't stay too long. Otherwise it wouldn't be....well....Canadian.
