For anyone out there who wishes to stop indulging in a harmful 'habit' so often, put more barriers between you and your addiction. For example: if you want to stop using Discord so often, then change your password to something random and log out of your account- You'll still be able to log back in by resetting your password, but however, you'll be less likely to considering the small challenges/lengthened time.
@@o0CalebBrown0o go to the gym or take walks outside in nature and start reading a book, there a lot you can do to quit discord and other social sites.
As a furry legitimately addicted to porn I don't really feel called out as much as I feel you properly addressed it, but I would like to argue there's stuff on E621 that made me joyful a fucking blacklist exists.
as a young furry who fell into this trap of porn addiction, this vid helped me realise how bad this is and i really need to stop. im gonna try recover from this
You can get better. I had the same issue too. Stay away from porn entirely and be careful who you engage with in the furry community because I had some bad people encouraging that stuff to me. The furry community is pretty toxic in my opinion looking back. I was a young vulnerable furry who fell into the trap as well and I suffered from it mentally and sexually. I left the community 4 years ago and I never looked back.
Whenever a minor calls themself a femboy, that raises red flags to me. That alone feels like a slippery slope to them being groomed by some dipshit. Also, as someone with poor mental health and comparing myself to an ex of mine (he has his own diagnosis, this is entirely unrelated, though), I'd say that porn addiction can be compared to gambling addiction.
Presenting in a GNC manner is cool, though I'm also aware the term "femboy" seems to have sexual baggage to it despite me personally not seeing it in such a manner ("tomboy" usually doesn't have the same sexual baggage). And that also brings us to the whole case surrounding the fetishization of effeminate non-women, though that's a tangent altogether.
@@shadow111pl The problem is that many consider criticism as hate, denying the flaws of the fandom as they were brainwashed. I don't think people hate us for having an interest in anthropomorphic animal-related content but for that scourge of sexual and fetish content. Not wonder non-furries look at us with bad eyes, even I can't stand that kind of degenerate material. Anthropomorphic animals have been one of the most famous themes in art since the first civilizations and they are even on cereal boxes or in sports games. Even an annoying eleven year old Anti-Furry kid likes this kind of creatures even if he doesn't recognize it.
@@vortexdelta1706 Yeah i totally agree with that, I'm also a furry and i totally understand why there are so many furry haters nowadays. thjere is that real hate that we really dont have to listen to, but all the criticism is just true, so that most of us really need to listen to it and try to change.
I'm a furry and I agree, there's way too many issues within the fandom that are either normalized or shoved under the rug it's the reason why I avoid the fandom despite being a furry I think it's maybe because furries have a weird biase, your opinion doesn't matter to them even a little unless you're a big furry youtuber or something and even then it wouldn't be a large enough impact and it just sucks, I went into the community because it seemed really welcoming and friendly but that's the problem, they're way too welcoming and they do nothing about things like pedophiles or zoophiles, I still enjoy a few things within the fandom but even then the flaws outnumber the good in the fandom, I'm still a part of the fandom with the hope that it'll improve some day but even then it seems pretty unlikely, if it doesn't get better I'll probably leave the fandom because I don't want to be involved with a sinking ship Also sorry if I misplaced some commas
I agree also it kind of sucks there is still some problems like this still happening I am still in some aspects of thr community but I basically avoid everything and anything that is controversial
@@Mai.Calico I personally don't hate the community as a whole but I hate how they refuse to handle issues and how they avoid criticism, it sucks and it kind of dims that spark I saw in the fandom when I joined the fandom
Seriously. It needs to be more than that. I still think 18+ sites should have some form of ID to prove your an adult. False IDs are a a dying brand so there's no worry of kids faking their ages.
“We aren’t mostly sexual” is the most bold faced lie as one from the fandom while it’s ok to have adult things in a community it’s necessary to contain those sections in said sections
It’s not a lie or a truth, depends who says it, people can just be fans of the art style without sexual stuff, of course they can. Anyways screw the fandom I guess, people can like furry stuff without getting involved in that in the slightest.
I was in a community and asked an active furry there if they knew there was a problem with the community regarding porn and they denied so quickly. I didn't press any further and pretended to believe them as to not start a fight but they never spoke in the server ever again.
There are so many videos where furries say "but it's a small portion of the fandom that's in it for sexual reasons!" No, bro, it's definitely >75%. If you would be a man/woman and own up to it I wouldn't even care, it's the fact that they boldface lie to everyone. That, I feel, is dangerous and reckless
@@JaxYTB You’d need to be able to have concrete evidence/stats to disprove and explain away any other explanation/factor of furries seeming to all be connected to porn. You could definitely say that there is a significant presence online of NSFW furry stuff that’s more public than other NSFW things though.
@@JaxYTB Are there actual statistics we can refer to? Otherwise the 3/4 fandom being sexually expressive like you assume is no more factual than those videos that say they are smaller portions?
Same with Reddit IMO. There are too many predditors in most subreddits, especially the ones meant for teens. Recently, there's a subreddit called runaways which is for people running away from their homes and predditors used it to prey on kids.
i always knew furrys had a huge sexual problem but when you start seeing your friends(below 18) who by the way were never, or were rarely ever sexual, become sexual right after becoming a furry, shows theres a massive problem, and gives off the feeling that joining the fandom is just an excuse to be a pervert openly
"But its just a joke!!" Want to know how I got in there in the first place? "Oh no guys trust me the furry outfit is just a joke!!" So maybe the same falls for, "My overly sexual comments and obsession with my own creepy fetishes are just a joke guys! Trust me its not real I only look at it every hour as a joke!" Yeah bud, all jokes, sure
It's good to recognize that it's the fault of furries themselves and not the community as a concept. I've met so many people that think this issue is an inherent part of being a furry and it's absolutely not. The real issue is that the addiction is so widespread that it would be extremely difficult to fix. Things like strict content moderation on sites like e621 would help, but you would still have porn addicts visiting the site.
I'm a furry because I draw animals. I have always had a serious issue with the community. All of my furry friends never understood why, because they are part of the problem. The porn addiction and furries always being way to blatantly sexual in PUBLIC settings, has always made me feel so unsafe and uncomfortable. As a child I flocked to it because I thought people would just think my characters look cool and fun... but then it turned sexual and I thought the only way they would love and accept me is if I quite literally bent over for them. Now as an adult, I can look back and say yes, I was addicted to porn, because it got to a place where the only thing that would get me going was INCREDIBLY abusive and violent sexual acts ( At the time, I thought all of these things were implied to be consensual, but as an adult looking back, all of them were very very obviously nonconsensual sex, and I thought this was what NORMAL SEX LOOKED LIKE. AS A 13 YEAR OLD CHILD. Are you seeing the problem now?) . I finally hit a point where I was so disgusted with myself that I stopped looking at porn all together. I was so addicted that even when I stopped watching it, I COULDN'T stop fantasizing about it constantly throughout the day. I was essentially going through "withdrawals". I now gag at the sight of the stuff I once used to view for pleasure. Porn will not give you a hug. It won't give you the feeling of being close and loved deeply by another human being. Get help. Please. You deserve it. Do not live in a community that perpetuates addiction and PROFITS from it. The people who you look up to who make furry art and make thousands of dollars, are making money off someone else's crippling addiction. They are NOT someone you want to become. They are NOT a role model. Please stay safe.
People also enjoy it as art. Its been a medium of art for 1000's of years and principles genuine artistic concepts. You still have a long way to go before you are an adult.
The worst part is that a lot of us _are_ trying to fix the problems... but those of us who try to put forward a serious effort are hopelessly outnumbered and out-clouted, because too much of the "community" is so deep in the problem that they can't even acknowledge the source; the people that they let in and aren't willing to get rid of... and will far too often defend vehemently. More power to you if you want to join the fight, but be prepared to be called every modern insult under the sun and moon because of it, because, and I quote some pretty big names in the fandom when I say this, "if you have a problem with the furry community, it's usually just thinly veiled homophobia and transphobia." The lack of self-awareness is... it alternates between depressing and hilarious to me. I mean, they're chasing out the people most invested in actually helping them, and it's not like we can go somewhere else; splinter groups are still furry, and more welcoming members will often wind up just inviting the problems right back in if you're not cultish levels of careful... which ironically is what the worst parts of the fandom are more practiced at being.
@@En_Joshi-Godrez It is an art form, but im talking specifically about the community around said art form. The art form itself is fine. The groups of people who are so deeply sexualizing the art to the point of an addiction is worrysome. I just don't want anyone else to get an addiction. Its an aweful thing to go through, and I hope they will be okay.
@@technologyistoofastformymo8761 that's reasonable. I appreciate the reply. Self expression is fundamental to the sustainability of art. Its important that different outlooks are explored, but there is a responsible way to do it. I think adult art has improved considerably in the past 5 years to where you have artists that draw from nuanced artistic expressions, which helps decouple it from the fetishistic endowment. Because its becoming less taboo artists and viewers are more motivated to explore artistic expressions of s3xual interfaces, rather than being explicit for the sake of being explicit. I see this, but I also see a lot of the baggage and detrimental aspects are still very present as a whole. But I do see it improving.
I feel like the normalization of outlandish behavior is a problem that stems within all communities, not just the furries. more and more people nowadays refuse to speak their mind because they fear that if they speak about something people don't want to think about, they'll recieve backlash for it. because communities grow so large, this sort of behavior collects in the minds of many individuals, and then causes them all to think within a certain view. it becomes sort of a rule that's never spoken, but exists within everyone's mind. you cannot criticize anything, because someone will hate you for it. you should only speak in a certain way. Be nice and don't harass anybody. people would likely not think this way if communities were far more open to different ideas, but because so many people think like this, it's hard to even solve problems. TL;DR, If people stopped thinking about what the community thinks is good for them they'll be able to make better decisions. There's my two cents added to the pile.
I dont refer to myself as "a furry" because of the association it has with this fucked up shit. I'm just a fan of Anthropomorphic characters. They're easier to draw, and more expressive then human characters (idk why, they just are to me)
1000%, I used to be apart of the fandom when I was like, 11 or 13, and one thing I quickly realized is that you can NEVER EVER go into any long term relationship of ANY KIND (THANK GOD I NEVER WAS IN A ROMANTIC ONE) LET ALONE A CONVERSATION without the eventual MENTION OF N$FW NO MATTER WHAT AGE IS IN THE CALL. it is just one of the most insane communities i have ever been apart of and I am forever grateful to myself that I left while I still could. I 100% agree with what you say that they are wayyy more expressive than human charcters and some of the fursona's ive seen look super cool and are super creative with the designs and color schemes (some of these characters inspire me so much to make my own but i dont due to the association) but most of the time, that character is corrupted with some n$fw stuff which just ruins the whole character for me, and some of the time, their bio makes it even worse...
Hi, I'm a minor in the furry community as I find that it's a good way to express myself and nice to have things like character design etc. to talk about with my friends. This video was really good and I appreciate a non-furry putting their own thoughts and warnings about our community on youtube. It's disgusting to think that something that I would say I am decently passionate about, is seen as just a weird fetish that hurts young kids. I also hate to say that I am a victim of this same vicious attack, luckily I never went down the rabbit hole of e62one and twitter. I think that without this video it is possible that I and other minor furries could have fallen down that path. Thank you for making this video. (sorry for my incoherency)
@@Crocdor_UwU but I don't actively search it out? Hell, even when I go on VRChat there are minors with hella suggestive bios. ('m a minor myself). Jax is not going to sugarcoat it and gets to the point. This is going to be a great video talking about the biggest problems in the furry community. And I agree they need to take actions against problems like porn addiction and paraphilias, it's sad that they don't care about safety. You deserve more recognition and subscribers. Another Jax W.
I feel like the way you say "paraphilia" just conflates something as innocuous as being into feet or armpits with unethical shit like loli/cub/zoophillia/necrophilia without considering the problem is moreso ease of access to this content for minors.
@@ArbitraryOutcome I didn't even say anything about "conflating" those with unethical paraphilias like you just mentioned. The main paraphilias I'm talking about in this 2 months old comment are the messed up and unethical ones.
I used to be a furry but I’m not one anymore (I’m just a fursuit maker now ig) and I really liked this video. When I used to have Twitter around over a year ago, I was looking at #fursuitfriday for cosplay ideas and found an adult video right there in front of me. The Fusuit Friday hashtag is supposed to be SFW so everybody could enjoy (There are also furry hashtags for adult content which he could have simply waited for) but I guess he didn’t care if minors saw his content.
As a 16 year old furry... I needed to hear the last half. I'm going to admit to something that I hopefully won't bring up again.... I'm addicted to p***. And when you start talking about how you slowly start getting into more and more taboo things until you hit the horrific rock bottem... it scared me. Which is good. I don't want to end up as a horrible person. I don't want my entire online presence to be sexual. While I may not have an e621 (or whatever it's called) account... I do have a r34 one. Which is bad.... thanks for opening up my eyes. As much as I DID NOT WANT TO HEAR IT. You can't run from problems. They only get stronger and faster until they eventually catch up and win... you have to fight it when it's weak.
Bro, I know that this is a few months late, but the fact that you’re 16 and able to recognize how this behavior can turn into addiction very quickly shows you have a lot of self awareness. I was in the same position as you 3 years ago. I‘m still kinda addicted but have come a long way. When you’re a horny teenager it can be really difficult to make good decisions because feeding addiction just feels good even though it will wreck havoc on your life in the long run. Some advice: It will get easier to manage as you age. Your brain will finish developing around your mid 20s, and puberty will end so you won’t be as horny all the time. Figure out how to block NSFW sites on your devices and do it in a way where you can’t easily unblock them. It’s much smarter to avoid the battle with temptation rather than have access to porn and constantly wrestling temptation with will power. Replace bad habits with good ones. This is where you need your will power. Whenever you feel like you need to watch porn, remember how dangerous it is to fall back into addiction and eventually spiral towards rock bottom into the most filthy, degenerate content. Instead, take a few deep breaths and hype yourself up to do something good. I recommend some skill or hobby that requires concentrated effort to improve on that’s also something you enjoy. For me, it is coding or playing piano. There is a free book online called „the easy peasy method“ it’s only 100 pages, so it’s very brief and easy read. It it one of the best if not the best book on dealing with porn addiction. I highly recommend it. Sorry for the long ass post, but I think I would have benefited from this advice when I was 16. Hope you succeed in beating addiction :)
I am 14 years old and was exposed to porn at the age of 9. Since then, I have become completely addicted and thrown away parts of my life because of it. Even just today I did "that" almost 3 FUCKING TIMES. I wish there was some tighter moderation around exposing this kind of stuff to children under the age of 18. I wish I could just fucking go back man. I am not proud of myself. I'm trying to get help. I've cut. I don't know what to do anymore. This community ruined me. edit: I got some professional help and am doing a bit better with my schedule and self control, thank you for the advice guys :D
I don't know if it's even possible to completely stop doing "that". When I started this "challenge" (christian thing) I lasted something over 3 months. I would say that's pretty good compared to average high scores but eventually you have to do this.
there are peoples doing the thing 8 times a day and aren't furries at all. it ain't porn addiction you just has high libido. tho if you couldn't think anything but p0rn to the point yo uwould stop focusing on something then yes it is.
@@AmicusAdastra if you can’t stop for 3 months or have to use it daily it’s an addiction otherwise most yiff is fine as long as it is not exposed to children
I believe that the zoophilia also comes from porn addiction. Porn addiction is the root of this fandom’s problems and I do believe we should focus more on stories, music, Sfw art, etc. sure porn isn’t the worst thing in the world but there shouldn’t be that fucking much of it. Idfk what to do though, it’s not like I can convince the furry hive mind to stop making and viewing porn.
Anthropomorphic animals inherently speak to children, most furries have a design that could be straight out of a childrens cartoon. While the design is innocent, the presentation is often extremely sexual. Furry culture is literally building a bridge between childish innocence and sexuality. And a culture has formed around that. It is inherent to the nature of the content. It is not a question of blame but a question of awareness. And once children walk over that bridge, in an age where they are still trying to orientate themselves sexually, they find this brutal overabundance of NSFW content because Furries, unlike other fetishes, only have their art to connect to their fetish. Someone with a foot fetish doesn't have to draw feet to see more feet, pretty much every human has two of them. But a furry will have a hard time finding animal-humanoids IRL. Out of necessity, Furries create way more art than other fetish-based subcultures. Art that doesn't just include drawings but also performance and of course costume-art. And that's what breeds the addiction part of it, the sheer abundance and accessibility to that content. To me, this is more a matter of extremely unfortunate circumstances of human nature rather than a culture being to blame. But there needs to be way more awareness of this in order to protect kids. It's not the furries fault that their fetish and culture speaks to children - but they got to fight the ugly stuff that comes with that regardless.
Extremely well thought out. One could say it's a direct attack on the children, and while that's cliche, it very well seems to be the case. To rid a child of their innocence is to commit one of the most heinous crimes imaginable.
Why do you think porn videos (at least ones before the self-made content boom of the pandemic) often feature women wearing child-like clothing and speaking with high-pitched voices. It speaks to a very dark part of the human psyche and is intentionally made that way to bridge the gap between childish innocence and sex, which is a dangerous and beyond scummy thing
@@friendofp.24 I don't think it's an attack. Like I said, it's basically just extremely unlucky circumstances that come together to attract children to this stuff. Of course this increases the opportunities for pedos and thus, over time, the culture accumulates more of them but I honestly do not believe that at its core the furry culture was always about attracting minors. It's just that they just so happen to be sexually attracted to big, fluffy walking animals which just so happen to be something that speaks to children.
@@JaxYTB I don't think it speaks to a dark part of the human psyche, in fact it speaks to our inner child and a desire to reconnect to it. I don't think everyone who has a fetish along these lines builds these bridges to lure over children, they build the bridges for themselves - in the case of furries, however, the bridge has become so huge that it goes both ways. The fantasy of that kinda porn is that idea of "being taken care of" and "being helpless but appreciated anyway", desires of the inner child. I guarantee you most people with fetishes along these lines just didn't receive enough love and security as children and as they grew up and they are trying to compensate. In our culture, sex is mostly about dominion and submission - especially in porn - and less about making each other feel loved unconditionally or save. And so normal sexuality doesn't cut it for those who didn't get enough of that.
I've for a while now been a furry who isn't really a furry. I specifically avoid the classification of "furry" because I don't really like the community. I've for a long time had the opinion that it normalizes sexual things while calling them "cute." Also, a lot of furries are just stuck up and annoying, I'm not even sure where that came from.
@@redaipo First of all, I do acknowledge that the problem discussed in the video does exist, I don't want to take away from that, but pornography (particularly that of a passionate, loving couple) CAN be cute. That doesn't make it not pornography, of course, but it's still cute.
I'm a furry and I'm an artist. I HATE the over sexualization. I tried to go to a con and NO one want to talk to me since I was in a closed relationship and couldn't fuck. There is also a problem with predators and looking past it
My god man what convention was that? I’ve never anybody get treated so abhorrently at a decent convention like that, a couple people I’ve knew that have gone to cons have always had a polite experience, not everybody asking if they are DTF.

@@Jack-Lad its fixable just not easy. We would practically just have to rework the humor among other stuff entirely as a group. I would say split it into two groups, one for adults one for minors but I feel that solution would cause issues and pretty sure it's been tried before in a way

Thanks for making this ive been a furry for 3 years and my experience with the fandom has mostly been terrible. Most people don't know how to act normal its very weird and degen. The worst part is lots of these furries are minors but a lot are still adults. Ive been completely done with the fandom recently I just cant stand it.

Found out last month he apparently did [illegal things] with his dog, I hate how the community almost seems to try and defend these horrible people as if it's a way to "defend the community," like maybe the reason people don't trust your fandom is because they defend it in the first place.
People who join parasocial communities often end up defending horrible things because they begin to see the flaws of the community as their own which makes no sense
When you talked about how p_rn is so accessible and ruined our generation, it hit hard because how true it is, so many people would be better if they didn't have an addiction. I also have a couple of friends that are furries and i pray they don't become like you described the ones in ur video. Anyways you did a good job at making this video cuz it needed to be said, amen brother.
From my 5 years of furry research, the saying "Nsfw only consists of a small portion of our community." Is one of the biggest myths you can say to any community elsewhere. If I were to talk to every individual furry on the Earth about NSFW, I'd assume 85% know its existence and use the most predictable excuse ever. The furry community has a big issue on unregulated NSFW content, and most furries are ignoring the issues as they either are too afraid to be shunned from the community by furry idiots, or take part in NSFW activities themselves not caring about anything that makes their community regulated. Not many people talk about what goes on behind during art commissions as well. Usually in an art commission, there is a lot of talk between the commissioner and customer. I've seen NSFW art of popular furry indivduals, which may indicate the popular furry took part in the NSFW art industry. I say 'may' as not every popular furry takes part in the industry, and are likely not to. It could just be some artist who'se made nsfw of somebody they like way too much without their consent and just so happen to spread online. Overall, as a person who researches communities all across the internet and the world, the furry fandom as a whole should really need to raise its ears and fix its issues, especially since its a rapidly growing community with younger generations becoming a bigger minority as time goes on.
So, probably it isn't important in the slightest, but just wanna thank you for this kind of content you make, I'm aware on how distressing these topics may be to compilate and talk about, but I see how see this more visceral version of a, until just now, extremely idealized place that was propagandized for me and other teenagers on their younger years have been really helpful for me (and some of my friends from the community joining times) to overcome our years long porn/climax addictions Big thanks, Mr. Jax! ❤️
This is a very well constructed video, especially the part of the porn addiction. It is a topic that barely is talked about, and if someone wishes to talk about it they're either shunned or instantly shut down. You end up searching for other people with the same mindset and end up creating a feedback loop of feeding each other acceptance over their normalized behaviour, until you crave for more. It is unfortunate, but I think the part of silencing porn addiction has been getting worse over the last decade.
I fell for this trap in my high school days. Im still trying to recover. I remember when I interacted with the fandom because of funny anthro animals. But now many people are in the fandom are overly sexual and creepy and im just sick of it. And the porn addiction isn’t the only problem in the fandom, there are also so many envious people who gather around with friends just to date one of them and flexing about it, making it seem like it’s necessary to be in a relationship. I used to love being a furry, but at this point idk if I can hold the title of being a furry anymore.
The majority that are openly furries are infact more sexual, but I would say about half of the furry fandom is infact people who don't ever say they are interested, and are usually less "cringe" and don't usually have these characteristics people blame the majority of them for.
For me and a lot of my friends, certain kinks are OK as long as they aren't hurting anyone. But when they do, yeah there's definitely a problem that needs to be addressed. I even have a few friends who are diaperfurs, and they don't see anything wrong with it. They aren't personally hurting anyone. Kids should not be involved in this kind of behavior.
Yeah... I know about how kinks are formed. I have an idea where my furry friend's kinks came from due to us being 90s kids. Cartoons back then were fucking insane. And King Sized Canary definitely fueled most of his. And I agree, the porn wasn't this prevalent back in 2013 back when I researched this fandom. Now it's outnumbering the sfw art 1,000 fold. As for how I know this, decided to update my research by contacting old numbers. Basic follow up questions and one was "how much has changed in the fandom after so many years?" And lo and behold the answer was "Porn Boom"
“It’s those darn meth dealers, they are the reason I’m high af right now!” No but jokes aside, 90’s kids or not.. the important thing is recognising if and when you have a problem that needs addressing.
When i was 14, i was lured in by the cute suits, only to get exposed to so many fetishes and so much god damn porn, tried to ignore it but like that shit is mental. I'm glad to not be a part of that hell hole. hope others can also have that moment of realization aswell.
The worst part is that furries just are a part of the general problem. Given that most of the community is made up by artists of some sort, more than any other community and given how LGBT+ influenced is the community, you can expect people to be slightly more open about sexuality and some jokes may be more prevalent. But the worst part is that when you have a community created around an unconventional hobby, weird kinks get slightly overrepresented, specially given that most people just go to the "funny monosodium glutamate website" because it's the one that is more recognisable "brands". Furries are already quite an interesting community so their porn is expected to be more weird to outsiders but to me, as part of the community and an asexual I see how mainstream this problem is. But it gets worse to be honest, take my class for example, or the entire school, there is practically nobody who hasn't jerked off to some weird shit ever, I'm shocked when people start talking about "how hot it is to see an octopus performing with a girl", they "play" like as a bare minimum 4-7 times a week and I've even met multiple People do it daily at least three times. As the female and male genders have begun increasingly only sticking with those of their own gender, girls find it harder to like guys and stereotypes about men are now much more common, and men now only desire essentially sluts to fulfill themselves. What's to blame? Porn and the internet.
We can go around blaming all kinds of aspects, still.. you do realise that doctors and medical professionals suggest that something like 4-7 times a week is biologically very normal behaviour… maybe not the octopus stuff or the fact that more or less your entire school seems to have a strange issue with unusual sexual fetishes, the internet and porn is a factor, but it’s nothing new.. there is only so long you can blame others before you realise that all the heroin you just took was your own doing regardless of influence, and it’s more or less up to you to start sorting that stuff out, sure you can get professional help, but my point still stands.

As someone who has floated around in both the furry and anime communities a few years ago (I don’t interact with either these days) I can say quite a few of the hyper sexual issues are prevalent in the anime community too (you thought the “young” tag was bad, wait till you see how weebs openly talk about “lolis” and “shotas”, and anime fan service is what got me into a p0rn addiction), but the lines between what’s safe and what’s not is more blurry there, and would require a different approach to solve. That being said, I feel like the internet has become more openly NSFW. The ankha zone, vaporeon copypasta, and bowling alley animation memes all come to mind, where the punchline is just “haha that’s p0rn” (the first two started in the furry fandom, but began to grow out into non furry meme spaces), and don’t even get me started on the multiple past meme formats that literally took adult films and cropped them. All that is to say that the problem with the furry community is a warning of what can happen to other parts of the internet if adult and minor-friendly spaces aren’t properly differentiated.
I wrote a shitty poem: Fuzzy and fluffy or scaly or feathered, Creativity, community, and artistic design. Be who you want, they don't often judge, Sounds nice, and all, but maybe it isn't. Maybe, just maybe, it was doomed from the start, With origins from. . suggestive art. Most of them are great and fine, Only lust blinds a few, but still too many. As taboo becomes bland, you can fall down a spiral, Desiring things that shouldn't be desirable.
Honestly I find the sexual aspect of the fandom quite gross. I myself am a furry and I view this community as a wholesome gang of friends, but everyday I get more grossed out by the sexual nature. I have endulged in it and I quite regret that. But I think more and more people are starting to think like me. I am wondering though - how big of a part of other fandoms is sex? I'm seeing more focus on adult content or things resembling something sexual on a lot more fandoms. I mean sex sells, but does it really have to consume our lives? I'm honestly tired of this shit.
I’m not a furry but friends with several furries, I had crossed upon the furry community and my perspective and personal take is there’s a lot of people who need emotional help. Personally I’ve seen stuff such as yiff artists follow and give access to minors which is quite concerning and from my perspective it’s a lot. I’ve met a bunch of good people as much as I found people who would try to shove their ideas down your throat or ideas, every supposedly sfw server or groups I keep seeing adults and minors talk nsfw and say it’s not illegal or some stuff and many encourage minor to minor or adult but something has to be done and sadly it isn’t done well enough.
It's honestly so sad how bad it's gotten. I may have no right in saying any of this, but I'm somewhat scared of the furry community. Knowing how there's not only an abnormally large amount of pedophiles in the fandom, but also knowing how normalized hypersexuality can be just scares me.
I'm a furry, have been since I was 12 on and off and I never ever find things like that. It's definitely just in corners and those ain't corners I've ever ended up in
"As a furry for the past 5 years, I have been addicted to the NSFW side of the fandom for about half of that time. I miss the person I was before this happened. Thankfully, I have been working on the addiction and trying to stop it for a few months now. However, it still doesn't change the fact that I am like this still. At times, I miss the more wholesome side of the fandom (yes, it did exist, and somewhat still does), where everyone was genuinely a decent person. Nowadays, it's like every other day someone gets called out for being some sort of bad person in the fandom. Honestly, I thank you for addressing this problem cause what once used to be a somewhat wholesome and misunderstood fandom is now not good at all to be the cause of this problem and I seriously hope it can be fixed. P.s For people replying to me, plz wish me and other people who got the misfortune of getting wrapped up in this mess the best for a successful recovery
THIS is how people like Ruben Sim should have addressed the issues with furries. Ladies and gents, this person is based. On a more serious note: I knew someone online who encouraged looking at pornographic content at the age of around 15. They were, of course, a furry. I was appalled at this notion at the time and still am. Furthermore, I am disturbed at the fact that e621 contains illegal content and takes no accountability in removing it off their platform for the sake of “preservation”.
As a furry I wholeheartedly agree with most everything said in your videos on the issues with the community . However I think that the amount of furries doing active harm is a smaller percentage. The overall issue is that the furries who aren't being harmful are so ridden with escapism and brain rot that they are just standing by and letting it happen.
@@friendofp.24 because, as I said, it's not all bad, and I think it's important to actually try for change in the community I am a part of than just give up and abandon it.
Yeah, this video more or less addresses the root cause of many problems and how nobody talks about it; you wouldn't believe the amount of times people get shunned for politely asking that minors not be involved in adult spaces
And what's even worse is the fact that in my case, I see the strings, and it turns out I always saw the strings until your videos would refine and clarify what those strings looked like, and to distance myself from them only resulted in further loneliness. It's a tough thing to mitigate, especially when the entire community seems to be nothing more than a cesspool at this point. But, I have been managing. It is an absolute disillusionment when you discover your entire community you once called home, were proud to be part of, and loved, is nothing more than a husk, a shadow of it's former self. And all you can do is sit back, and watch it all melt and wither before your eyes. I may fit the description of a furry, but I no longer with to associate with the furry community. The only thing I feel is a possibility, is the return of a group similar to the burned furs. While their methods were certainly aggressive, and other factors would lead to their downfall, you can't kill an ideology. The idea is still there, archived, and their ruins readable. Improved Anthropomorphics would apparently be a continuation, but their records and ruins are scarce, I can barely find anything worth mentioning other than them existing. Whether or not someone will light the brazier again, is entirely up for time to decide, but I look forward to it. And I feel, I am not the only one that awaits it's ignition. I won't reply to comments because RUclips. That's all I will say, you'd understand.
Meh i'd disagree since the foundation of the furry community itself back in it's olden days were NSFW, art/comic selling maybe trading and ofc watch anime or do other stuff. Since it all originated from comics which sometimes only allowed anthropomorphic animal characters but I digress. The burnt furs didn't really do anything besides saying that degeneracy and being gay was not cool (or whatever from what i've heard). But I think the solution to the problem is that furries start to accept their flaws and not be a bunch of ignorant incel hermits who refuse to acknowledge really disgusting kinks or stuff like feral is immoral.
@@slent5346 burnt furs didn't really do anything. An old furry who witnessed them just made Nazi salutes and barely did anything. When the furry fandom turned gay in 1998, they just gave up.

This video has a ton of roblox clips and I think that really goes to show just how adult roblox has become. Like hell it definitely wasn't sunshine and rainbows when I was younger and creating things on the site, but it's almost 100% worse now. There is so many bypassed things floating around the site that it doesn't even surprise me anymore when I stumble onto one. I've seen goddamn condo games hit the front page, bypassed clothing is a regular sight, and all you need to do to upload a zorn decal is just jpeg the image a bit, or not at all, roblox doesn't care either way. roblox is a goddamn danger to kids for so many reasons, and it feels that zorn on roblox is becoming more and more inescapable AND normalized by the day. No wonder there is so many zorn addicted people on that site, It's all around us and essentially baked into the culture.
You are pretty Damn right about the “Gen Z will have to be the first to grapple with this addiction etc” Not just specifically gen z tho, but millennials too, 90’s kids, young people of all generations that are regularly exposed to internet culture. There is a lot nsfw in that fandom, and that won’t change, it will just grow, you have to be careful if you want to avoid that stuff, it’s the same with most fandoms but the furry fandom is huge and filled with its own plentiful levels of devious stuff, try to avoid it, if you have a hard time then avoid the fandom altogether, if you find anything particularly concerning to do with grooming or pedophilia/zoophilia, then report it.
Whole group of weirdos and loners,, they seem to actually a lack of role model or a figure to look up to so they turn to the internet and stumble across their demise (evil sata
I became a Furry just after starting to recover from porn addiction and it made the fight against the addiction harder because many of them are horny af. Still managed to beat the addiction and now I stay on the SFW side of the community and enjoy the wholesome and cute content there.
I used to be on the innocent side of being a furry, until about a year back. While I don't have any 'kinks' or anything, (including common ones like feet [that disgusts me]) this video has made me realize that I'm falling down a rabbit hole, and that I was on my way to addiction as well. I'm taking this as a warning to stop myself before it gets worse. Thank you for making this video. This stuff doesn't get talked about enough, even though there are so many people it could help. I really hope people start recognizing the importance of this, and start saving themselves from this slippery slope as well.
I’m 18 and I don’t think I used to have a “textbook addiction” (as in to the point where it affected my daily life), but I definitely searched for it more often than normal when I was bored. It strangely didn’t stem from the furry fandom, regardless, I thankfully got it under control before it could take over too much of my life. I thankfully never searched for anything morally reprehensible, since if ever I came across it by chance I would get pretty shaken up and almost traumatized for the rest of the day/week. I now do what I consider to be moderation in terms of how much I accessed it, and my interests are now more focused around art, games, and a few webcomics, as you can probably see from my RUclips channel. I’m still dealing with oversexualizing things still, but it’s a big improvement from last year. You really aren’t joking about what can happen to a child with unrestricted internet access, I’m just glad I managed myself before anything irreversible happened. 😥
Dear GOD I want to talk about this. As a 22 year old furry I think I know the reason why this continues to happen. The main reason being, the furry community is very decentralized, meaning there is barely any checks nor balances. We are all essentially wrapped up into individualized bubbles of escapism without anybody controlling what we consume including NSFW. NSFW is a multi million dollar industry especially furry pron so it is mass produced by artists to pay the bills. This can be somewhat related to obesity problems in the US ( about 70% of Americans are obese) “restaurants are just serving the food to the designated customer, they are not the problem.” This constant circulation of pron is a very easy way for everyone in the fandom to become addicted to it. Also for added context the average age of a furry is 21 years old, most of which are bisexual / gay men which is a section of the population that has the most sexual partners ( This isn’t hate, I’m gay, this is just based off of facts). The biggest issue by far is how furry nsfw is unfortunately distributed across the internet without any regulations or care so it ends up in spaces where it definitely should not be. While I don’t think the concept of furry pron is inherently bad, it’s the constant distribution that is. It should remain behind closed doors and should be checked on by peers so it doesn’t turn into an addiction nor the material turns into something that is very questionable. Personally because of how it was distributed, it became an addiction to me. Nofap was one of the hardest things that I have done in my life and this is including me as someone who runs marathons and is training for ultra-marathons. I also want to talk about pedophilia and how it could correlate with the furry fandom. According to frontiers in human Neuroscience, those who abuse children only 50% of them are actually Pedophilic and the rest are basically sociopaths who crave power over others. If that’s the case I can easily see why child abusers would be attracted to the furry fandom. Furry characters are appealing to children and may have child characteristics. People with pedophilia mentally try to become what they are attracted to and being an OwO cute furry online is probably one of the best ways to not only attract minors but also kinda become their own messed up fantasy. With child abuser sociopaths, seeing these child appealing characters is a great way to feel like they are in control. I could maybe point out a way where minors are less likely to be exposed to furry nsfw. A furry RUclipsr by the name of Zenith created a program where it an detect furry NSFW with 90% accuracy and theoretically, it could be applied to where, if an account states it’s under 18 years old, it could get those images out of their algorithm and this could be applied to video games where it won’t allow you to show those images. I absolutely hate the decision making of furries- non furries who unethically post NSFW because it can seriously mess up minors psychologically especially hate posting because anyone with basic knowledge of psychology know that’s not how to get someone’s respect and will only add on to their hatred of furries. I don’t really know the whole controversy with Reuben Sim, however, that’s probably why he hates furries and honestly, it’s quite reasonable considering he is trying to get NSFW out of Roblox. It’s quite inspiring actually. Ultimately, I really wish I could help the furry fandom in anyway I possibly can, but I just don’t know how. Just because I am a furry doesn’t mean I actually interact a lot with the community and mainly, I just focus on visual novels and art created by people I resonate with. I’m in my own little bubble of fantasy not focusing on others. I don’t know if it’s my responsibility to clean up the fandom but even if it isn’t I still want to, somehow. It’s just sad to me because furry as a concept is really cool in terms of storytelling, history, and showing yourself as a creative. Neurodivergent individuals like myself are people who struggle with many things including talking to and understanding peers, gender dysphoria, and sexuality. even though I’m not sure why, being a furry just really feels like it’s a part of who I am in this terribly confusing world. It makes me happy even if the furry fandom never existed. I allows me to express my inner feelings on a canvas as an artist. Thanks for the videos for informing others with constructive criticism rather than hatred.
I used to have a buddy who was a furry. He was friends with some guy who made nude pixel art of girls on Minecraft servers, and overall was a pretty cruddy friend. I'm glad to not be associating myself with these people anymore
@@-gemberkoekje-5547 Fair point, made me chuckle a bit. In fact, if you stop being a furry just because you stop interacting with other furries, you werent even a furry. Im a furry because im a fan of the concept of anthropomorphic animals. I'd say my philosophy with furries is that the "concept" of what they are isn't inherintly bad, it's just an interest in anthropormorphic animals. However, the overwheming majority of the people who are in the communtiy are weird.
I'm a NSFW artist and the amount of minors I've had to block on twitter and almost every other social media is just ridiculous, I've even had some asking me if they can ship their fursonas with mine.
Im a furry and im happy that youve brought more attention to these very sensitive problems. I try my best to stay away from this side of the furry fandom and im an asexual minor, and i make that as clear as i can but still some adults wont back off. The pedophilia and other problems in the furry community just disappointing to me and i try my best to stay away from that side of the fandom. Sometimes when i tell my friends or other people im a furry they just group me with those people immediately, but honestly i dont blame them since usually in any larger fandom or community, the bad will be more rampant on social media than the good. Anyways, im glad you brought a few more of these problems to people's attention and i hope that some of the worst things in the community can be shut down in any sort of way
ok but doesnt this happen literally everywhere? porn addiction is everywhere and has influenced all of internet culture. and why do people always focus on furries, but never talk about the anime community that has nearly all of the same problems.
Yes, aristotle, other fandoms do have this issue. However, I never made the claim that porn addiction and the furry fandom is mutually exclusive. Therefore, it is completely and utterly unnecessary to mention how it compares with other fandoms because...I'm not talking about them in this video.
@@JaxYTB yeah, but focusing on furries is still misguided at best, when this is a problem that affects all of the internet. you can use furries as a way to demonstrate an example which later use to describe the rest of the internet, but this just makes it seem like furries inherently over-sexual, when all the people on the internet are over-sexual and some of these people are furries. at very least clarify or something.
@@arcioko2142 I'm focusing on furries because it's who I have spent the most time with, if people are misguided because of it I can't control them there's a lot of extraneous factors that determine someone's biases and willingness to realize confirmation bias among other things. I 100% agree with this, I've seen some many creepy as hell people, me thinking they're adults, turns out they're 13-15 year olds talking about how badly they want to do things only 18 and over people can do its disgusting, some people have even tried to DM me saying "heeeey wanna ERP~" i hate it but i find it worse that people legitimately enjoy this kind of stuff. You, jax, bring up a very big point and I respect it with all I can the entire situation is messed up, how did this all even start? I hope soon there will be some way we can quickly stop this
The furry community is something people can be use as a tool to manipulate children both acidentally and on purpose to do things or like things they would never normally have done otherwise, which is literally a fact and literally the biggest issue ever. And another bigger issues is when people part of it defend the community saying things like "oh well it's not everyone" or "it happens in other places too so thats just generalizing" not realizing that that issue is super massive specific to the community. I guarentee that u can quite literally debate this topic with a furry that disagrees and they will call it generalizing, and then when u ask them to bring up examples of this issue in other types of fandoms in the cases of children, all they can find are incidents between adults and adults only Wanna know how i know this, because i am a victim, simple as that, and thankfully i learned to actually grow some self-awareness and common sense to eventually understand the physcology behind this. I was going into this video thinking it wouldn't actually discuss this issue or that the point talked about in this video wasn't going to be the main point, but i am actually boistrous at the fact that jax actually understood what the main issue is and super glad that im not the only person that knows this (although i might just be the only one who is in the community that knows this lol)
as someone who once considered myself a furry, but not longer do and haven’t since 2020, i agree quite a bit with this video. i still enjoy a lot of furry artwork and draw anthro animals, but the gross nature of the actual community has pretty much made me distance myself. i still draw “furry” characters, but i’ve never once tried to involve anything weird in them. i wish people would actually learn to like, keep that stuff to themselves. especially if they’re a minor.
From a personnel experience this is all true. In middle school I knew this one girl who was an open furry, even though I was open in how much I disliked them she was obsessed with me and wouldn't leave me and my friends alone. She wouldn't even pay attention in class she would just draw furry art and had a nsfw insta account where she would post ALL THE TIME. She even drew ACTUALL PICTUES of kids in OUR CLASS doing VERY inappropriate things and would SHOW IT TO THEM. Because of this my pity and hate grew for furriers.
Speaking of E621, since it's in the title. The fact that they still allow cub content on e621 is disgusting and I'm shocked nobody is speaking out against that. Anyways, the furry fandom literally messed me up in the time I was in it as a young teen, and websites like e621 really normalized alot of disgusting things in my young mind. This fandom needs to be abolished.

Ive been through it myself for about 9 years. Just know that it is possible to heal and the best advice I can give is to not keep track of the days you've had porn free and instead focus on tracking your habits. Focus on making your life better and building better habits and not on quitting porn. For example instead of "I went 4 days without it and failed" Try "I went a week a I watched porn X amount of times, but I went out with friends more, went out my comfort zone and/or excersised more" Then the next week try making the good habits more frequent and the porn less frequent, that way looking back on the week even if you did relapse you may have watched porn less and did good things more. Which will help you prevent that crushing feeling im sure you've experienced during relapse. There are alot of youtubers that have good advice you can find. You can heal from this, any bizarre fetishes you've picked up will receide and your interest in them will fizzle out. You are not alone, this is a very very common issue and its very likely many people you know also have it even if they wont admit it. I believe you can make your life better
I like anthro art. I like making stories about anthropomorphic animal characters. I even like looking at other people's anthro art. But do I want the label of "furry"? Do I want to involve myself in the furry community? No and absolutely not. Everyone on the outside who thinks it's "weird" or a "sexual thing" has only a faint idea of how bad it is. I tell people that I draw "funny animal people" if I have to explain it because I don't want to be connected to or associated with this fandom. The only way a safe version of the furry community exists is if people in the furry community become _very_ aggressive and hostile toward the people trafficking furry porn and _very_ puritan when it comes to sexual content. It cannot be acceptable to be posting fetish porn on websites where minors can access it just by clicking a button on a prompt, and it cannot be acceptable for kids to search up the name of a pokemon and get lewd images. This only stops if we take radical steps in the opposite direction.
Finally, an intelligent human who simply enjoys and creates art and doesn't lump themselves into a vile and depraved community. So sick of furries shitting on their creepy community while also stating they are a member said community.
the fandom is inherently sexual, eradication of sexual content is a lot harder than a system where you need a ID to use the internet, only adults should be allowed online, even without the furry stuff gen z is absolutely ruined by the internet. the whole fandom shouldn't stop being sexual in entirety over something that could be solved by better parenting and restricting internet access, even without the furry stuff the weeb stuff is very similar.
Fredrick Knudsen made a great video about the origins of furries and it actually goes back decades and started with artists wanting to make cartoons and comics "more silly"(accepting submissions from the public), which led to a convention, which led to people swapping NSFW art of anthro-animal characters. The people who were a lot more "into it" than is healthy really went with it and it all evolved from there. Point is, modern furries have their roots firmly planted in sexualised media featuring non-human characters.
I'm a furry and I did not know it was this bad. I'm actually shocked, I understand why so many people hate us and it's because of this bs. I did not know it was this bad, when I saw the tags on e621 I felt sick to my stomach and idk if I want to be associated with this fandom anymore. I like to draw and I like to make characters and I will still do this but idk if I want to associate myself with this bs because I did not know this much of the fandom was like this.
As a furry myself, I was exposed to e621 very early in my life. I fully agree with this video. Its sad to see something that I actually enjoy be the main problems of my life.
Despite the negative elements outlined with the fandom in this video, let's all reflect on how many of us are here who are furry but wish to have simple and clean fun. There are people like us, there will always be. We just need to weave through and disregard the bad. Who says you have to be part of a whole community when it's just sharing a common bond with a couple of friends is all we need.
Ever since I dug deeper into my own problems and just, in general, my life, I've been gradually interacting less with the community. I've opened my eyes, and I'm easing it out of my life.
God you’re the first time I’ve found someone else address this issue. Used to consider myself a furry and was somewhat active in the community, and the amount of “safe for work” spaces that had 18+ only sides, just disgusting. Like why would you want to go to the same community that you have 13 year olds posting in to look at porn?! Not to mention the lewd shit often leaked over to the “safe” sides of things too
For anyone out there who wishes to stop indulging in a harmful 'habit' so often, put more barriers between you and your addiction. For example: if you want to stop using Discord so often, then change your password to something random and log out of your account- You'll still be able to log back in by resetting your password, but however, you'll be less likely to considering the small challenges/lengthened time.
Or you'll get better at finishing the challenges and be able to do it so fast it might as well not be there.

Of course you can
Whenever a minor calls themself a femboy, that raises red flags to me.

@@TSPxEclipse I mean, at least it would hinder people from developing paraphillias or stepping further down the line.
@Obama doESn’t care #NFT #NFTs #NFTCommmunity frr
More power to you if you want to join the fight, but be prepared to be called every modern insult under the sun and moon because of it, because, and I quote some pretty big names in the fandom when I say this, "if you have a problem with the furry community, it's usually just thinly veiled homophobia and transphobia."
The lack of self-awareness is... it alternates between depressing and hilarious to me.
Just because you draw furries doesn't mean you are a furry.

Some advice:
It will get easier to manage as you age.

This is very true. Many of their 'fursonas' and whatnot tend to look as though they're from some sort of children's cartoon.

So, probably it isn't important in the slightest, but just wanna thank you for this kind of content you make, I'm aware on how distressing these topics may be to compilate and talk about, but I see how see this more visceral version of a, until just now, extremely idealized place that was propagandized for me and other teenagers on their younger years have been really helpful for me (and some of my friends from the community joining times) to overcome our years long porn/climax addictions
Big thanks, Mr. Jax!
But like, labb ratt and lago virt have talked about it
I fell for this trap in my high school days.
The majority that are openly furries are infact more sexual, but I would say about half of the furry fandom is infact people who don't ever say they are interested, and are usually less "cringe" and don't usually have these characteristics people blame the majority of them for.
however, it's still a huge issue that needs to be tackled down (it's a bit out of hand at it's current state)
@@digojez Yes but that applies for all people generally.
“It’s those darn meth dealers, they are the reason I’m high af right now!”
No but jokes aside, 90’s kids or not.. the important thing is recognising if and when you have a problem that needs addressing.

My first thought is tate
We can go around blaming all kinds of aspects, still.. you do realise that doctors and medical professionals suggest that something like 4-7 times a week is biologically very normal behaviour… maybe not the octopus stuff or the fact that more or less your entire school seems to have a strange issue with unusual sexual fetishes, the internet and porn is a factor, but it’s nothing new.. there is only so long you can blame others before you realise that all the heroin you just took was your own doing regardless of influence, and it’s more or less up to you to start sorting that stuff out, sure you can get professional help, but my point still stands.
@@guzma5524 Nope, that’s another problem.. he’s a purposely controversial scammer that influences kids in negative ways and affects mental health if young men in a negative manner.

I wrote a shitty poem:
Fuzzy and fluffy or scaly or feathered,
Creativity, community, and artistic design.
Be who you want, they don't often judge,
Sounds nice, and all, but maybe it isn't.
Maybe, just maybe, it was doomed from the start,
With origins from. . suggestive art.
Most of them are great and fine,
Only lust blinds a few, but still too many.
As taboo becomes bland, you can fall down a spiral,
Desiring things that shouldn't be desirable.
I’ve met a bunch of good people as much as I found people who would try to shove their ideas down your throat or ideas, every supposedly sfw server or groups I keep seeing adults and minors talk nsfw and say it’s not illegal or some stuff and many encourage minor to minor or adult but something has to be done and sadly it isn’t done well enough.
i always love to ask furries why they allow pedophilic and zoophilic content on their sites, they usually refuse to respond
I mean someone had to make an “as a furry” comment eventually
@@The_WumboTM yeah, retrospectively I probably shouldn't have opened like that, I'm furry in the vaguest essence of the word

As a furry who acknowledge this problem, I am GLAD that you are saying all of this, this needs more attention so we can spread more awareness of this
I used to be on the innocent side of being a furry, until about a year back.
I'm 17 and will try to stop today. I think it's starting to get a bit out of hand.
Thanks for the videos for informing others with constructive criticism rather than hatred.
i genuinely kind of felt that⁉️⁉️⁉️

The furry community is something people can be use as a tool to manipulate children both acidentally and on purpose to do things or like things they would never normally have done otherwise, which is literally a fact and literally the biggest issue ever.
And another bigger issues is when people part of it defend the community saying things like "oh well it's not everyone" or "it happens in other places too so thats just generalizing" not realizing that that issue is super massive specific to the community.
I guarentee that u can quite literally debate this topic with a furry that disagrees and they will call it generalizing, and then when u ask them to bring up examples of this issue in other types of fandoms in the cases of children, all they can find are incidents between adults and adults only

I posted this video in a discord server, and all of the furries on the server became angry. Funniest shit in awhile
If they were conservative they would probably agree.
Or maybe teens should stay out of clearly adult spaces. I wish e621 would ban cub though.
Now the real question, why did they named there sinful site after msg chemical number?
i think it's a dick joke or smth
@@Lactopurg4 your comment is shadow ban I only see your comment by the bell.
@@Jack-Lad lol, i thinks it's because i used the D word
@@Jack-Lad anyways, it's a D joke, probably, because msg has a "meaty" flavour
@@Lactopurg4 lol ya. I'm getting sick of RUclips shadow banning comment and it's just getting worse.
hey no hate but if ur gonna use my art in ur vids or anywhere atleast ask for permission or credit me or something im not cool w it being used without my knowledge 👍
(first drawing in the vid was mine)
this probably also goes for the other art used in this vid regardless of what ur talking about, you really should be asking artists for permission to use their stuff first, again no hate but i'm really not comfortable with my stuff being used on yt so
@@stressaim so? you are the one who makes it available to the public
@@deez8202 it is just out there on the internet yea, but it doesn't make it okay to take it and use it without the original creator's permission
stuff like dmca, copyright, trademarking etc. are perfect examples of this + even if you don't make money out of it it's kind of scummy to use it without asking or crediting, it completely disregards any effort the artist puts into creating it 👍
jax already reached out and apologised tho so im not bothered

I clicked on this video thinking it was just gonna be calling furries cringe but everything that is said in this video is true. Im a 15 yr old furry with a porn addiction and im worried what it could end up doing to me but i dont feel like I can get help since it will most likely be seen as wierd or gross.
Ive been through it myself for about 9 years. Just know that it is possible to heal and the best advice I can give is to not keep track of the days you've had porn free and instead focus on tracking your habits. Focus on making your life better and building better habits and not on quitting porn.
For example instead of "I went 4 days without it and failed"
Try "I went a week a I watched porn X amount of times, but I went out with friends more, went out my comfort zone and/or excersised more"
Then the next week try making the good habits more frequent and the porn less frequent, that way looking back on the week even if you did relapse you may have watched porn less and did good things more.
The use of the word puritan is weirdly funny to me
Finally, an intelligent human who simply enjoys and creates art and doesn't lump themselves into a vile and depraved community. So sick of furries shitting on their creepy community while also stating they are a member said community.
@@friendofp.24 and? That’s like saying I can’t make fun of the Minecraft pvp community because I’m a part of it
the fandom is inherently sexual, eradication of sexual content is a lot harder than a system where you need a ID to use the internet, only adults should be allowed online, even without the furry stuff gen z is absolutely ruined by the internet. the whole fandom shouldn't stop being sexual in entirety over something that could be solved by better parenting and restricting internet access, even without the furry stuff the weeb stuff is very similar.
@@friendofp.24 i guess everyone who lives in michigan is a militia member then

wouldn't the loli and shota go under the anime community moreso anyways? the scat and gore tags are less issues and more just weird
Point is, modern furries have their roots firmly planted in sexualised media featuring non-human characters.
true, the fandom should be exclusively adult,
I'm a furry and I did not know it was this bad.
Its sad to see something that I actually enjoy be the main problems of my life.
so what are you going to do about it?
The reality of this is sickening to think about…
Despite the negative elements outlined with the fandom in this video, let's all reflect on how many of us are here who are furry but wish to have simple and clean fun.
For real, I’m a young furry, and the amount of nsfw I’ve seen on just Instagram alone being played off as “haha funny” is just gross
Not to mention the lewd shit often leaked over to the “safe” sides of things too
W video
Jax you're too underrated you need way more recognition and subs.
