I think the only thing I would change on the spec is switch around the XT mech for SLX and the SLX shifter for the XT shifter to gain that double down shift!
Awesome video bro, would you say this is very similar to the Ripmo Af ? Thanks for reviewing the ripmo af by the way, you introduced me to my all time favorite trails at deem hills in az!
Heck yeah thank you! That’s a great question. It’s been a while since I was on that ripmo but from my memory bank the ripmo had more of a “plush” feel, ate up the small bumps and chatter a bit better. The Habit edges it out on “playfulness” but they are close. I would take the habit over the ripmo if it was my decision 👍
@theloamwolf great review thanks. Are the 4 volume spacers you plugged in the rear shock the maximum allowed for it? Asking as RS has both thin and thick spacers.
From what I understand 4 is the max. When looking it there it looks like you could pop a 5th in but not entirely sure. A larger volume negative air can would be a better upgrade, more expensive but for sure better results.
Hi I have a 2020 habit 5 which I love, don’t know if you rode any of the habits of that era? But if you did, would you say there’s that much of a positive improvement for me 2 wanna upgrade? Cheers and great vid ✌️
@@fullpullmtb yeah cheers mate that’s what the feedback seams 2b! Also only issue I found with mine is had 2 size up 2 a large coz the reach was less on the previous model, can’t get a big enough dropper on it, 170 at least on the new medium I reckon 👍
@@fullpullmtb I wish they made wide toebox clipless shoes, I made the switch to barefoot shoes a couple months ago, and going back to narrow toebox, feels so uncomfortable
@@carloslara7452 Check out the MX201 from Lake. You might have to do some work to take up the heel cup volume and some volume in the shoe, however the toe box is actually foot shaped and so good. The boa system is pretty good as well.
For under 4k this is a good bike I wish they had different color options tho and it feels weird watching other people besides Drew and The guy from the UK Rob if I remember correctly is his name lol 😂
Checks allot of boxes! I have to say, the yellow did grow on my after a while. Still not my first choice but the slight two tone definitely helped ease it a bit. The yellow is great for photos and videos, really pops compared to my standard plain black choices!
Ironically, this might be the most "normal" mountainbike on the market right now. Not a thing I ever thought I'd say about a Cannondale.
I'm not sure if the Habit is a copy of the Spectral 29 or the Spectral 29 is a copy of the Habit? But holy shit the frames are almost identical.
Nice review ;) Just noticed a typo in the geometry numbers, wheelbase is 1240mm.
Thanks for that!

Nice input thanks for sharing
honestly the SLX is better IMO, the lever is so much easier to push than XT.
Pink bike didn't think the same😮
Thanks so much for this review! I appreciate your notes about sizing. Curious to know your height.

Will die before I give up my Bad Habit! Such a good bike!
I’m 5ft10, would you recommend a medium or large? I’m not an advanced rider
How tall are you? I'm in between L/XL and it's hard to choose.

I have not! Looking at the numbers I think you would find the updates pretty significant on the trail!

What are those casual shoes you're wearing during the review ? They look dope
Keen eye! They are the Xero Prio. I like them for the super wide toe box.

@@carloslara7452agreed! I am using the RC Transition, they have a wider toe shape than most

Top Fuel 8 or this?

@@fullpullmtb all black would of been great 👍
Haha Yeah Cole has been around a while, he just took a break but we're happy to have him back helping us out from time to time.
Would this be a good, dedicated bike park, single black diamond and down ?
$4000?? In chile is like 2200 dolars
