The hardest part of assembly is getting it in the house! The assembly itself wasn't too bad. The hardware was packaged so nicely. The hardware for each step was packaged so that you knew what hardware to use for each step. I am just starting out, so it will be fun to see how this machine can help me lose weight and get fit!
We had a few problems with our treadmill order. We paid for in home delivery and the dispatcher gave us pushback and I had to circle back with the vendor. Later the driver wasn't happy with our delivery location, the driveway entrance, the handful of steps to the door, and in room delivery. We assembled the treadmill on site it took several hours. Introspect I recommend paying for the onsite assembly services. We had trouble getting one of the screws lined up with the console and frame.
I literally had to disassemble the treadmill. Like, extracting the motor, the deck and more. Otherwise the bottom part would have been too heavy to get them downstairs. But it's easily done with some patience, and the whole thing is very sturdy.
I recenly demoed a 7.4. Several things I found to be annoying. The clear protective cover on the display is very reflective under fluorescent lights making it difficult to see the display. The use of low-level (table) incandescent lights should help. I noticed a thumping sound at speeds 5+mph. It appears to be coming from the seam on the belt hitting the top roller. This can be very distracting without headphones. The store person said it should improve as the belt stretches. Some things to check out yourself.
The belt noise at higher speeds seems to be an issue for us as well. How long does it take/miles or time for this to resolve? Agree it’s super annoying.
Kinda floating between the Sole F63, F80, and the Horizon 7.0 and 7.4. I like that the Horizon 7.4 is shorter at 76" than the 77in F63 or 82.5" F80, but really like the cleaner Z designs. Really leaning away from subscription drive models though, I loathe paying a monthly fee to use my own home gym.
If you want just a basic treadmill that will last, just go with the Sole F63. I've had their older model for 2 years now and got it used! It has given me zero problems! - Linds
Hello, I have got arthritis in my knees. I love walking on my treadmill but need a new one. I am comparing the Nordictrack 1750 with Horizon 74 and Sole F80. Which do you think would have the most cushion?
@@CHANTI8947 I bought the Sole f80 for the looks, warranty and features. Actually, I could have purchased a more basic treadmill since I don't really use the media features. I like the bigger motor and the built-in workout routines. Bottom line, happy with purchase. To each their own, however I didn't care for the look of the Horizon panel.
Depends who you ask! lol. I would choose the F80 and my best friend who helps test out a lot of our treadmills with me would choose the 7.4, either way they are both great treadmills! - Linds
Death to smart treadmills. That’s what my iPad is for. Death to subscriptions. I want basic and built like a tank. Lifetime warranty. Thx
I like the review. My family is getting one for several reasons including this review and information from consumer reports
Great treadmill - sole F85 does look better, double the price in Australia.
What about the Paragon X by Horizon?
Thanks Lindsay! What's the most cushioned treadmill that you like!
I'm actually loving pro form lately. The Trainer 14.0 or the Pro 2000 are really good in my opinion! - Linds

It will break in. I had the same thumping sound with a $3,600 treadmill. It went away after a few months.
Great review, thanks! Thoughts about the width? Is it standard or too narrow? Thanks!!
Totally great! It is 20 inches for the width and this is pretty standard, not narrow at all! - Linds

The 1750 has the best cushioning out of these 3, then the sole 80, then the horizon 7.4! - Linds
What happened to the speed\incline dial arms?
I agree it doesn't look like a 2023 model without the dial adjustment arms !
Yes I think that’s it. Probably just a model from 1 or 2 years ago. I’m pretty sold on this and plan to buy it.
@@lindal8596 I'm leaning towards Sole f80 between the two.
@@rogershinton7483 how did it go. Debating between Sole f80 and horizon 7.4 AT myself. Unfortunately, there are no places where I can try out these 2.

Should I put a mat under this treadmill. It will be stored in my basement on a concrete floor? Not sure if it's necessary.
I don't think a mat is necessary. - Linds
Does it fully integrate with Zwift / Runna? Allowing for the app to control speed/incline during workouts?
It doesn't. - Linds
is this a better deal and package than the Sole F80?

@@garagegymreviewseverything This is such a messed up response... lol...
You are me. I’m worried the tm might slam down on my foot my life would be over (because I can’t run) I’m not being dramatic. 😅
Nice review...too bad this isn't the most recent model.
🏅 Honorable Mention
home working horse...just press play and go...
This doesn’t look like a honest review
