Hi! Thanks! As I mostly use Uponor pipes and fittings, I bought their manual crimping tool. Just to have this extra assurance. My tool is for aluminium composite pipes. Usually, the manufacturer has a list of tools that are ok to use with their products. Uponor has it for example. I would check it out just to be sure. There are cheaper crimping tools in stores as well that are used. I would probably rent a professional tool instead. I have used battery powered crimping tools from Milwaukee and Rems for example. They are very comfortable to use but are quite expensive to buy. I do not do plumbing work every day. Hope it helps. Cheers!
