Research was done years ago with people making two requests to cut in line. The first group simply asked to cut without any qualification. The second merely added "because..." whatever. Like "Because I don't like to wait" (as if anyone ever does). The "because" group got permission to cut far more than the "non-because" group. I think it works largely because when someone adds "because" to a statement, the mind automatically presumes that there's a legitimate reason. Obviously, this wasn't 100% effective. Few things ever are.
It's pretty obvious how he pulls this trick off. All he has to do is, when the two women aren't looking, kidnap and clone them, kill the originals, and replace them with the clones in the store.

it's hard to live with so much blood on your hands. Not many people can handle it. I mean, why do you think David Copperfield went off the deep end? He butchered 300 people for the Great Wall illusion.
Most people don't even know this. It's really surprising how they don't seem to notice themselves being slaughtered and cloned. The Carbonaro Effect is a great example of people's reaction to their own butchery though.

+TheZGang I do happen to have a thing for girls with short hair, esp the androgynous ones. btw the girl in the clip does in some angles remind me of an androgynous girl i once knew some years ago. A good mix of masculine and feminine facial features with a slim boyish figure. But she was VERY feminine and soft spoken in nature. I was sooo smitten back then.

Figured it out (spoiler alert): first two chocolates have nuts in them (they are separated from the rest as they are the only ones ALREADY in the spoon within the container). The rest do not have them. After spinning them he turns the bowl backwards while dumping the nuts. This allows him to block his hand while he dumps the nuts into the bowl and onto the table, from his hand(thus the extreme zoom in). Mystery solved! you learn what to watch for from watching "magic's biggest secrets revealed"

ImplantedAgenda and you can actually see how he reaches under the table with his right hand while he pours out the "d-nutted" chocolates, then he turns the metal bowl towards him to make it look like the nuts are pouring out if the bowl, but he actually had them in his right hand.
