You two actually have one of the best vanlife stories going. Ability to fix your rig, teamwork, love and dogs. All in a small space. Definetley dig it!
Yes. A van tour would be cool! I saw a camper van like yours for sale on Facebook for $4000 USD and will be looking for something like your rig when I return from the Philippines. Nice to see you are going to be doing some mechanical repairs on it! I am interested in your repair videos also! I liked your starter replacement video.. You also picked some cool places to camp on your voyage north.. I too love the peaceful vibe! Be safe my friend! Those dogs are so athletic and full of life and fun.. Lots of reasons to keep watching.. Cheers to Ester and the egg, bacon biscuits looked great lady! I will be trying to make something similar.. But nothing beats camper food on the road.. Take Care
Yep nothing beats cooking your own food on the road! You have more time so you put in extra effort. Some of the food Esther has been cooking is blown we away! Good luck on finding the small rigs, they are hard to find! I’m not mechanic but I hope to highlight how easy it is to work on old vehicles!
Hi again. I crave camping on the beach so badly that I must think about it everyday. I’ve never done it. I’m a natural “water” person but ironically I live in Colorado so not close to the beach but hopefully one day soon before I am no longer able to travel. Chili looked delicious as well as those breakfast sandwiches. Your wife appears to be a very good cook. Chili with some rice is one of my favorite dinners. I find that Camping in the forest with an occasional night rain can be very relaxing, nice to just relax and kind of nap. Excellent laidback video, which I love. Thanks for sharing and safe travels in Oregon!
I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos and please get yourself to a beach campsite soon! I’m also a water person, can’t get enough of it! I grew in North Queensland, Australia where we swim pretty every single day. I miss those warm waters!
You know, I’m here in NYC watching all your videos, and I have to say : “You four are DEF living the dream life”! The freedom to go where you want, seeing nature as it was meant to be seen, eating some AWESOME food - homemade and otherwise! Being in this concrete jungle 24/7, makes me long for the lifestyle you’ve chosen as your norm! Always my best to you guys 👏🏼👍🏼🤩❤️
Thanks Robert! We used to be in the concrete jungle too, up high in the shoebox apartment. Something deep inside was telling me to get out and away from this before it’s too late. Glad I did, will never go back haha
I ove to watch your videos you two. Very relaxing and easy in the brain to watch after work. Don’t change. Maybe a bike ride tour around the neighborhood. 🤙
I missed what Harley you have. Looks like you found yourself a good life and a lovely woman to share it with. What type of doggo are they. beauty they are
Videos with the mountains the Pacific coast or a combination of ocean shore mountains and beautiful trees with you two enjoying a meal and or coffee is always a winner and must see visuals for me. Some of us just love living the van life through others. :) Wishing you both the best!
That looks like an incredible life. You should get a small drone for taking more video of these amazing places! Do you ever have people bother you at night? I have heard some pretty scary stories of unexpected visitors when van camping. Safe travels!
Hey there! Thanks! Funny you mention it, we are looking into a drone soon. And yes we have had a few sketchy experiences… some gunshots outside our van at night - we had to drive away fast and once I had to deal with thugs trying to get in at 3am. Lucky I am 6’4 man with guard dogs. It helps.
Great content guys! Also your shot framing is spectacular. You can definitely tell that you are filming on a consumer camera but your subject matter is just so good. You are literal proof that content is way more important than gear. Do you plan out your shots, or is this just pure awesomeness? I have so many questions! Safe travels! Ohh and the biscuits look great, id eat them. They're not burnt, they're golden.
Thanks mate! I really appreciated the kind words. This is all just filmed off an old iphone 11 😅 and no planning, just pulling it out of my pocket and pointing it to things I see that interest me. I am considering upgrading to a better camper but I know that’s a deep rabbit hole of research that I’m kinda avoiding for now. Any suggestions?
We full time in a 5th wheel but there's no way I could get into the places you are going because we are to big with truck and trailer. If the van is working for you, rock on my friend! You have a good eye for photography and I've seen bigger channels fail when it comes to shot composition. I feel like the footage you publish actually tells the story all by itself and then you bring in the frosting with your narrations. Have you made it to Montana yet? Your van would be killer in glacier national Park, and then maybe consider going down to Yellowstone. I think you might be able to get on to some of the primitive camp sites with your van but you should double check that.
Haha thankyou for highlighting a part of our filming that I hadn’t noticed myself. And I love 5th wheels, the idea of detaching the truck to go explore appeals to me but your right about the size, I’m already struggling in cities in this little camper. Will look into a better filming set up in the future soon to bring up the quality, I think people will appreciate that.
I don't think your filming rig is terrible by any means. I noticed a little bit of "noise" in the video on some of the scenes, and it struggles in low light when you are filming around your dinet. I think your subject matter is enough of a distraction that the lower quality during those few scenes doesn't matter much. For instance, the sunset at the beach has some noise in it, but the shot framing was perfect. It gave context that the day was over and everything was winding down. Sure it has noise but the idea conveyed so well, and complimented the story line to the point that it was better to have it noisy and all than to omit it. A few stick up LED lights could help filming inside and give you more light to see. If you want to do a truck and trailer setup, I saw a Ford Maverick pulling a decent size ultra light camper over here on the east coast. Something like that could help you have a little more space while keeping a smaller footprint in the city. Nevertheless, the van is just cool and pretty rare.
Brissy!!! I lived in the West end for a while, a couple years in Toowoomba and a couple more in Dalby. Great area down there in SEQ. Thanks for following!
New subscriber. Next time yall come to Eugene, I have great free camp sites in the beautiful rain forest here. Would love for the missus and I to hang out with you guys around a fire. Cheers 🍻
Hi Do you need some great lighting for your car to help you better driving, off-road. We're the pro auto lighting company for nearly 20 year and we're looking for sponsorship!

I ove to watch your videos you two. Very relaxing and easy in the brain to watch after work. Don’t change. Maybe a bike ride tour around the neighborhood. 🤙

Good job fellow dirt biker! \m/
Thanks mate! Might not be much room in the van but there’s always room for a bike 😂
I really enjoy seeing you work on the van. So a video about how you give that van some love is always appreciated.

Thanks, the ocean and the mountains is my favourite place! Thought I can’t wait to get back to the desert again too.
Hey I'm glad to have stumbled onto your channel, love the mellow vibe! There is no place like the PNW that's for sure.
Glad you found it! You’re totally right, PNW feels like home, it’s nice to be back!

@@randallsmodernlife Wow. That sounds intense.
You two stay safe out there. Enjoyed your content and the food looks yummy!
The dogs love to run 😂. Waiting for the next video ✌🏼
They need a lot of space to run free haha

Chatting by the fire in the forest? You’re speaking to my soul! We’ve spent quite a bit of time in Eugene over the years, it’s a nice good spot to be.
Once again its proved. 4x4 is not required
Just a little tip for all travelers. If going into California fill your gas tanks before going into California. Gas is so much higher there.
Good tip! I miss Arizona in the $3 prices!
Beautiful. What beach was this?
I never got the name of this place, somewhere in Northern California where we stumbled up accidentally.
Hi Do you need some great lighting for your car to help you better driving, off-road. We're the pro auto lighting company for nearly 20 year and we're looking for sponsorship!
I would like to know where is that spot in California at the beach. My kinda spot❤❤❤❤
I’ll have to get Ryan to get back to you! It’s on iOverlander and is the only spot available to camp on the beach - Esther
nice clip to get high with
Can I join?
