It's really amazing that it seems a very great number of people that participated in the Plastic Beach tour all got the sailor anchor tattoo that I've seen on Damon, Jamie, now I see it on the Little Dragon singer and recently saw it on one of the guys from De La Soul.

Well, anchor itself is identical, but Yukimi's tattoo says "The Art", while Damon's says "Das Kunst", which means the same thing in German : )

I don't think anybody would write something in another languages with wrong grammar because it sounds cooler or because it might be misunderstood. If you write something in another language as a tattoo, you expect the other people not to understand it, that's the whole point of it

Well I like the point you are making right now, it's way more interesting than the first. Don't take it personally though, but I find the idea of making a mistake on purpose because English people might misunderstand it completely stupid

Ah no, it's similar but with different words.
You should therefore notice that I was making a reference to a possible motive that someone else might have. I entertain the hypothetical logical processes of other people not as an expression of my own, but rather as a matter of possible explanations for behaviour. I also deem it senseless to make a purposeful grammatical error merely for the ease of perception of ignorant people. An error was made. Was there a purpose to that? What was the purpose? We are left to entertain possibilities, no?
