Harper adjusted corporate taxes and actually gained taxes massively because businesses grew and more growth.
Im not gonna bother fact checking because i know thats a myth if only for what happened with GM. I grew up in sw ontario too. The manufacturing exodus didnt care who gave them our money.

The Liberals lowered the tax rate on corporations in order for businesses to come to Canada. Harper maintained that. This lady doesn't know her history.

I was just talking with a small business owner yesterday who's business is incorporated hence "a corporation". She was planning on giving her employees a raise instead a corporate tax increase would give the government a raise instead.
Lets pretend that person is real. Should the paperwork snafus of a single business affect our entire economy? Couldnt we just help them disincorporate?

Breaking Harper's debt record was extremely difficult, but Trudeau managed to do it.

All of this math saying "hike taxes on corporations and the wealthy and we'll have more revenue" completely ignores the amount of investment that will leave Canada because it's not worth the cost.
Increasing taxes generally reduces tax revenues because businesses and wealthy individuals move to a more favourable jurisdiction.
That is why you need someone who understands economics running a country.
We need to start protesting like Europe does. Let them know it's not what we want or need.

Raising taxes on corporations raises the cost of the services and products they provide. It in turn raising the cost of everything the average person buys.
That or they simply pick up and move elsewhere like they did in Alberta when NDP raised Corp taxes.
