    Harper adjusted corporate taxes and actually gained taxes massively because businesses grew and more growth.

      Im not gonna bother fact checking because i know thats a myth if only for what happened with GM. I grew up in sw ontario too. The manufacturing exodus didnt care who gave them our money.

      The Liberals lowered the tax rate on corporations in order for businesses to come to Canada. Harper maintained that. This lady doesn't know her history.

    I was just talking with a small business owner yesterday who's business is incorporated hence "a corporation". She was planning on giving her employees a raise instead a corporate tax increase would give the government a raise instead.

    All of this math saying "hike taxes on corporations and the wealthy and we'll have more revenue" completely ignores the amount of investment that will leave Canada because it's not worth the cost.
    Increasing taxes generally reduces tax revenues because businesses and wealthy individuals move to a more favourable jurisdiction.
    That is why you need someone who understands economics running a country.

    Raising taxes on corporations raises the cost of the services and products they provide. It in turn raising the cost of everything the average person buys.

    Im a millennial. If we dont start taxing the wealth that is clearly warping our economy, my generation is going to abandon it.
    We are not participating. We are moving away and working online for more valuable nations. There will be no services here or they'll be excessively expensive.
    Im fine with this. Im very competent and happy with less. I have no intention of selling my labour for less than its worth to maintain a system that harms me.
