Adrian Snell, His Faith & His Music

Adrian Snell has been recording UK Gospel music since the mid 1970s and 1986's Alpha is one of Adrians best known and internationally best selling works, with texts drawn from the prophetic books of The Bible.
The concert is recorded in 1988. We meet Adrian in his Hometown where he shares about his faith and his music.

Alpha & Omega is one of the best albums of all time! I had the privilege of seeing Mr Snell in concert recently. Was fantastic!

Adrian Snell is one of the few Christian composers with definitely an own musical style. Usually you hear music that is a derivative of known music styles from the classical world, if it is Western music. That he has a musical background and training I can hear. The harmony he uses in his music, is well-pleasing to the ear and the variations on a theme he magnificently works out in his music. I love most "I am the Way", "Alpha and Omega" and "Psalm 27" because those songs are based on texts from the Bible.
