I first heard him when I went to a lunchtime concert at the University of Alberta, nearly fifty years ago. I remember him badgering the sound man for "more guitar" and singing a song questioning why the devil should have all the best music. I was not yet a Christian and I had no idea who he was or what he was singing about. I would soon learn. I forgot about just how much of a true character he was. Songwriter, singer, and personality. He was simply amazing. I love the first wavers of Jesus rock. Having said that, the only other person I can think of who combined all of the elements I described was Keith Green.

Wow! I can’t believe this was 1993😮 I was just 23. I had so many plans. Got out the military, moved to Georgia. Looking to get married and start a family! None of those things happened,lots of hard knocks but I’m still here by Gods grace🤷‍♂️

Adrian Snell is one of the few Christian composers with definitely an own musical style. Usually you hear music that is a derivative of known music styles from the classical world, if it is Western music. That he has a musical background and training I can hear. The harmony he uses in his music, is well-pleasing to the ear and the variations on a theme he magnificently works out in his music. I love most "I am the Way", "Alpha and Omega" and "Psalm 27" because those songs are based on texts from the Bible. Blessings from the LORD! Br San (the Netherlands)
