    If I'm juicing while prepping, I can barely keep up with the standard J2 hopper. This is a nice idea, but something like the Kuvings CS700 is what needs it.

    Both are great machines and are excellent choices for those seeking a quality cold pressed juicer. I tired both and prefer (and own) the J2. As you noted, it costs a tad bit less, performs very well, and is easy to clean. The fact that Nama came out with new accessories is proof enough that they will continue to develop the product line; I hope this will entice Kuvings to do the same. The J2 also fits my kitchen decor with a more modern look vice the industrial look of the Kuvings. I will mention that both have pretty good websites and customer service. Love the videos! Keep up the great work!!!

    The point around 24:20 is really important, and why I stopped purchasing Kuvings products.
    Regardless of the warranty, the base will almost always outlast the top parts.
    Over the years, I ended up with TWO Kuvings bases/motors that I couldn't use because the tops cracked but they wouldn't sell me just the parts I needed.
    It's good to know Nama is taking a different, more ethical approach.

      I am sorry to hear about the experience you had with the Kuvings top set. I also experienced problems with top sets on previous kuvings models. However, I have not seen this problem on the Kuvings Auto10. That being said, what country are you located in? the topset parts SHOULD be available here. I know in other countries the warranty is handled by the IMPORTER of the machine to the respected country, and they may be less likely to stock replacement parts.

      @@discountjuicers I already got rid of the Kuvings bases. I was so upset I swore to them that I'd never buy from them again. They later called back and said they'd sell me the parts but I was fuming so I said thanks, but no thanks lol. It's actually what prompted me to get the Nama J2 (with your code!). I'm extremely happy with Nama and I just hope they remain committed to their customers.

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 месяца назад +2

      I had already requested this. The main problem is the original packaging was designed for the 2L hopper and the 3L hopper will not fit in the original box, so there would need to be significant packaging changes to make that happen,so they will not do it. That being said, if you dont need the included 2L hopper, I would recommend selling it on EBAY so someone else could have a SPARE hopper or replace their broken one. The hoppers do NOT contain PFAS. The hopper side walls are made from Eastman Tritan co-polymer that contains no BPA or BPS. While PFAS may help to keep things sliding down (which is good) the cost is that PFAS have been called "forever chemicals" and have been shown to have negative health effects, so I personally would NOT want them in a juicer or even have them in my home at all.

But love the easy cleaning system over the traditional screen. Hope Hurom comes out with a 3 liter hopper but it's no big if they don't. Easy cleaning over having to open the hopper once or twice. To each their own.

      Although for celery juice, they probably juice almost about the same.
      But things like carrots and soft fruits, and most root vegetables the NC 800 is much better.

      It is true the kuvings cleaning tool makes cleaning the screen easier on the kuvings, that being said, it does take some fiddling to use. So when I clean the J2, I use an oversized brush that I pick up and don't put down, since I clean ALL the j2 parts with one brush, I don't have to rotate between the three brushes that the Kuvings comes with. See my complete Nama J2 cleaning process at ruclips.net/video/BCBZ1AdHaTQ/видео.html I do not hide the fact that I PREFER the Nama J2 as it is MY favorite juicer. That being said, the J2 and AUTO10 are SO close in performance. For some reasons, the Auto10 is better for others the J2 is superior. Some people, such as yourself prefer the Kuvings for the benefits it has. That is the goal of my videos to share the PROS and CONS of each machine, as well as share my personal expert OPINIONS on the machines based on my experience, so people can make the best choice for their needs.

    Hi John, I understand your comparison videos are based on the produce you are juicing in which is very important for your viewers to consider because you definitely have changed your stance in this video as you praise the new Nama J2 3L Hopper over the Kuvings here but in your other video on Baby Greens between these two juicers you state the Nama J2 3L hopper is a design flaw and the Kuvings is superior in which you completely flip flopped. Regardless of produce you are juicing I can’t wrap my mind around how you stated the J2 3L hopper has a design flaw over the Kuvings to now saying here that it is a superior hopper, please explain how baby greens to pineapple & oranges can make this extreme shift in your opinion, please explain, thku. Also, I had to return my Nama J2 as the 2L hopper leaked badly from the box & the 3L hopper left so much product in the juicer area & blade to clean & the pulp extractor was always clogged in which I followed the recipes in the Nama book. I didnt want a warranty replacement as a brand new high price item should not leak from the get go + dealing with email customer service was like dealing with Al robot. I wanted to love the Nama J2 but the experience and all the boxes for accessories was a complete disappointment. I was going to try the Kuvings Auto10 until I watched this video & now my search begins all over again for a juicer. I appreciate all you do and you are a tremendous help in your videos, experience and opinions. Thank you

      Each video I make the results are based on: the produce being used and the juicer being tested.
      Some juicers are optimized (either purposely or non-purposely) for juicing specific items better than others.
      In the case of root veggies, I find the J2 3L hopper works great. and the Auto10 hopper doesn't work as well (based on this test) but in the greens test as you saw, the Auto10 hopper performed BETTER than the J2 3L hopper. So it really depends on hat YOU intend to juice. If you have mostly roots, and some fruits and little leaves, I feel the J2 3L hopper will work fine, but I would need to test your specific recipe in both machines to know for sure. So you could buy both machines and return the one that you like LESS! Each machine has its own pros and cons, as well as each company has their own pros and cons. Vertical juicers generally will always leave some produce in the auger when you are done juicing esp if softer or you dont run the juicer long enough. This can be minimized by juicing roots at the end of your juicing session.

    As far as I know, Kuvings AUTO10 is made in S. Korea but some components of NAMA J2 including the motor are made in China.

      The Nama J2 is made in South Korea, Just as the Auto10. Many years ago, I visited both these factories.

      You can use a vacuum pump to remove foam after the juice is made as I show in the video ruclips.net/video/kQI2x5x-DLw/видео.html

    I am almost 80 and have had just about every juicer you can own and have found out most are a waste of money mainly because of the cleaning process or the juicing process. No thanks, John my omega nc 800 Omega is the best juicer for me and I know your favorite juicer is always the guys that pay you the most. In looking at that juicer I see there are small tiny parts that can easily get lost or could be a cleaning challenge. My NC 800 takes less than two minutes to clean and costs a heck of a lot less and does a great job. In listening to this loud mouth hawker you will hear in my opinion a lot and he has a serious case of mouth diarrhea.

      Hi Ron, I appreciate your opinions and your experience on the juicers for sure. EACH person needs to find the BEST juicer for them that they like that has the FEATURES each person desires the most. I purchased the NC800 for my elderly parents because it is EASY to clean and works great and is not too complicated like the Nama J2 for example. This is why I make all my videos to share the differences. I also say just because the Nama J2 is my favorite, doesn't mean it is BEST for everyone! That being said, technically I do make more money when someone buys the Auto10 instead of the Nama J2, my goal is to share the TRUTH regardless of how much I make on the sale, but based on how the juicers perform and my personal experience.

      @@discountjuicersWhat would you say is the difference in yield between a traditional horizontal juicer and one of these vertical juicers whether an auto hopper or a single feed like the Kuvings 830?

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 месяца назад +2

      @@J00sey It really depends on WHAT is being juiced. Horizontal juicers generally will get a higher yield when juicing leafy greens/celery for example, while vertical generally get a higher yield on fruits, and both machines usually get a similar yield on roots. That being said, yield is one factor, a good horizontal juicer will extract more nutrition out of the produce IMO as well. see ruclips.net/video/7ILENcNpVOw/видео.html where I demonstrate this.

      @@discountjuicers Just watched the video. Super informative & helpful!! I’ve always owned an Omega and loved it and have been thinking about upgrading for a while now so I can juice more. I tend to juice more leafy greens and celery than juices, so it looks like the Sana is going to be a better choice for me. Plus the ability to make my own fresh oils is an exciting bonus for me. It looks like an amazing machine.

    NamaJ2 didn't last a year. My NamaJ2 started out strong. It juiced veggies and grapes with no problems.
    I clean my unit after each session. Always immediately.
    Now my NamaJ2 clogs and will not release the pulp. Grapes, forget it. NamaJ2 will not juice grapes anymore. And my leafy veggies get stuck too.
    I wonder if I'm cleaning it to often 🤔. I clean by hand. Never in the dishwasher.
    Any suggestions as to which juicer to buy next? NamaJ2 is not worth the money. Can't even juice grapes without jamming

      You probably had firm grapes vs soft grapes and that's the difference. There has to be enough hard material to push the goop through. Cucumbers clog mine for the same reason if I'm not mixing in hard ingredients. Kiwis clog if I leave the skin on, because it's so thin that it gets stuck between the auger and screen. Gotta work around certain ingredients.
