But what about your menstrual cycle? In this video I'm explaining how you can use your menstrual cycle to time your spells and rituals.

I love this, and you're right -- it's a really simple and brilliant concept but not one that anyone ever wants to talk about because people get really weird about periods. Great video!!
And talking about periods should not be weird at all when around 50% of people have them at some point in their lives 🤣

i really like a brazillian project called mandala lunar, where you basically create a chart and register habits you want to create as well as your menstrual cycle to see how they are connected. perhaps that would be something you would be interested in! loved your video :~)

In my African language periods are referred to as the moon. When one goes on their periods they say You have gone to the moon or you have seen the moon.

Yessss this is definitely something I love to do. I do meditate on shedding what no longer serves and shadow work journalling just before I bleed and allow the bleed to be a ritual release for these. I also like to collect my menstrual blood to use it in my practice; I freeze some and I have dried some previously also, to keep for magic; I offer some to the deity I work with and I take a menstrual face mask once or twice during my bleed - my kids find it a bit alarming but I'm working on normalising a woman's menstrual cycle for them as they are only 5 and 7. I usually save some to add with water to offer the earth and water the plants and I like to paint with it occasionally as well. I work with the lunar phases quite closely and I love to see how my cycles reflect the Moon. So interesting to discuss. Thank you for sharing 🙏
As a woman who menstruates, I need more information about these face masks; how do you make them? And furthermore, I‘m really sensitive to scents (sensory processing disorder), so is there a way for me to get it to not smell like what menstrual blood typically smells like?

I am interested in doing this but I am synced to the full moon, so I feel like the energy from the full moon would clash with the ‘new moon’ energy from my menstrual cycle and maybe cancel each other out a bit or not be as powerful? I’d be interested to hear your take on that side please? Thanks!
I think you can still use it. I mean… there’s usually SOMETHING that clashes timing wise. Or at least it very rarely happens that we choose a day where EVERYTHING is perfect (aka week das AND moon phase AND astrological setup AND planetary hour etc) ☺️
I’ve been getting my period on full moons and been wanting to use my cycle for magic due to that it feels right to bleed when the moon is full for me
I've heard that before electricity (when people were more synchronised with nature in general) people with periods (who were healthy) bled during New moon and ovulated on Full moon, just like you said

What does it mean when they are naturally heavy and long 7 days long. I don’t have any lady problems, just always had heavy periods to the point of getting 8 weeks of iron infusions due to anemia.

So we just had solar eclipse on Mon 4/8 as well as new moon I go t my period on 4/10 does this still count
My period is so synced to the moon phases. I get my period with a new moon cycle
All of this resonates…. But I actually be so sluggish during ovulation. My workouts have to be so light on those days 😩
How does the lunar cycle relate to women who have gone through menopause? The hormones are still there, but much less predictable.
Ouf tbh I don’t really know how the cycles work with someone who went through menopause :/ that’s why I said it applies to any person who gets their period… i guess one would have to find out their own cycles and see whether they can be used in any specific way 🤔
Maybe since your body went to pause that cycle you can go back to moon phase? Menopause is a part of your circle of life which is another level in itself. But that's just my interpretation.

What happened to the word "women"
I decided not to use the word simply because I also wanted to include people that don’t identify as women but get their periods. Also, not all women get their periods, so using the word would also not be accurate here.
