I went through med school and saw there were so many young men who honestly believed that the perfect woman would fall at their feet as soon as they start getting that fat surgeon salary. Some of them never even dated up to that point because they were so focused on getting into med school and working their asses off until age 30. Ironically, surgeons tend to be most vulnerable once they start their actual career. Attractive women who would never have given many of these guys a chance all of a sudden start noticing. And it's easy to fall for this because it is a new phenomenon for so many guys after med school. Male surgeons should never marry school teachers or hair dressers (highest divorce rates with surgeons, they actually did a retrospective study on this). The lowest divorce rates were seen with doctor couples - i.e. they understand each-other and the work it took to get to that point (imagine that).

In addition to doing surgeries, regular appointments, he has professor duties, and he on tons of boards, has to run his finances and business and malpractice insurance, etc...people don't understand how tiring and how many hours top surgeons work. Note he only found out in December 2020, which was right when Covid was big in America and hospitals were FORCED to to close and there were less or no surgeries at all at some place. Thus, he was basically forced to take off work and had all this extra time at home, which is how he found. If not for covid, he might had not have free time to find out.
