Awesome, that about sums Band-Maid! Misa,Misa, Misa! Akane is on fire 🔥! I always enjoy watching Misa go from pick to slapping and back to pick seamlessly and flawless, the Assassin just kills the bass! Every track on the Unseen World album is this good, believe it!
Yeah, I was on the fence with this tune when it first came out but now after dozens and dozens of listens I LOVE IT!! Their new album, for me, is like driving around the city for a few hours then when you get on the highway it takes a while to get use to the high speeds, getting "velocitized" is what that's called. "Unseen World" for me is jumping on the Autobahn with a Hypercar after riding around town with a bicycle.... I'm starting to get up to speed with this new album.
I think Kanami and the girls produce the most dense yet completely integrated music for any hard rock band in history. And if you isolate Saiki's singing, it's amazing how many runs and vocal techniques she uses, especially in "No God." But she can be overlooked because of the flurry of notes and sound flying around her. You gotta love these super polite, unassuming geniuses that become warriors on stage and in the studio! Thx for covering Band-Maid, Jim!
Nice reaction Jim! The new album is amazing. You have already reacted to Manners and Warning from the same album. Here is a quick breakdown on the other songs from that album: - After Life, groovy and catchy. - I still seek revenge, very bass and drums heavy, and the groove is off the charts! - H-G-K, total chaos! Kanami's most difficult song to date. - Sayonakidori, Miku's song. She takes on the lead vocals here. - Why Why Why, another controlled chaos song. In my opinion one of the strongest vocal arrangements in Band-Maid's discography - Chemical Reaction, groovy and cowbells! - Giovanni, the closest Band-Maid has gotten to real prog rock! - Honkai, after the attack on your senses from Giovanni, Honkai seems like a simple song. It is the hidden gem of the album. - Black Hole, 220 BPM - Without Holding Back, excellent instrumental
I had a couple (a few) of the Suntory Toki whiskies mixed with Fever Tree ginger ale, Very pleasant. It'd warm you up Dave now you're heading into winter & frozen Drop Bears are cracking tourists skulls.🐨🤕
Absolutely progressive. Reminds me of YES and Rush - and that’s a massive compliment. Some incredible difficulty in the timing shifts and hitting each transition perfectly as they do - from all 5 of them. Really good 👍🏻 😀
A guy like you... a guy like you is going to love Blooming (MV) and Play (live). I can tell :)
I'm glad you could tell that, cos they're both great songs.👍

Her slap 'n picking is amazing to watch

I just love how much you can tell they are enjoying themselves. I can't listen to Band Maid without it improving my mood.

Jim your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to react to every BAND-MAID song. This comment will not self destruct in 5 seconds :)
Peter Graves went to a Band Maid show and spontaneously combusted 🤔
@@snowdog5895 Ohhhh so that's what happened to him. It's how he would've wanted to go, plus it saves on funeral costs ;)

Friggin' Genius ! Everyone off the hook all the way though. You couldn't ask for more.
I've never heard of these ladies before. They sound pretty good.😉
Haha nice one
So goood to see your face in the feed again Jim 😊
You are correct. Band-Maid never disappoints. This is MISA's song. Outstanding performance.

Is there anyone else who thinks that MISA's slides on the bass sound like an energy weapon charging to blast you off?
Haha it does. Ridley Scott has sampled MISA's bass slide sounds for use in the next Alien film....probably :)
I like your movie references
@@nikistorkson8929 Thx a lot Niki :)
Some reactors have reacted to every single songs on the new album. It's that good. It's band-maid's perhaps most progressive album ever.

Misa is ALL over this track. Active basslines r us. I am in love!❤️
